I have such a treat for you today! I’m very excited to share this gorgeous, white and grey kitchen which belongs to our very dear friends! I have been after my girlfriend to share their beautiful home on the blog for quite a few years now.
So, when I stumbled upon the opportunity to help them with a hardware update in this space, I jumped on it! This kitchen is such a beautiful mix of classic elegance and modern simplicity, the perfect blend of both worlds.
I think you will love it! Keep reading below to see what we did in here and why, some before shots, and of course the gorgeous results!
I’d like to extend a very big thank you to Belwith-Keeler, for providing the hardware and for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own. Affiliate links are provided throughout this post – see my full disclosure policy here.
WHITE AND GREY KITCHEN: MODERN + CLASSIC DESIGN!
I’ve partnered with Belwith-Keeler in the past for our own kitchen hardware update and also more recently in our kids’ bathroom refresh as well. They have such a gorgeous selection of hardware across many price points, incredible quality and truly thoughtful design in all of their products.
I’m a huge fan of their beautiful products. So when our friends were looking to update their kitchen hardware to something more refined, I turned to Belwith-Keeler for their help, of course.
The previous hardware in the space consisted of a lot of knobs, which looked great, but they wanted a different look that would have more of an impact and create a more elevated statement.
So, we decided to replace all of the knobs with only pulls instead. The results are absolutely beautiful and most definitely make a statement!
I personally prefer the look of handles installed throughout a kitchen, as opposed to a mix of handles and knobs, if the space allows for it.
I find it creates a more upscale, elevated and luxe look. It really is a personal preference, and our friends felt that was what their space needed as well.
THE KITCHEN BEFORE: KNOBS + PULLS
If you look closely above, there were mostly knobs used throughout including all of the upper cabinets. With a simple update of only pulls on all of the cupboards, the space instantly becomes much more refined – and it is already a stunning kitchen!
It brings a little more elegance, and a little more of a luxe look that adds visual interest and richness to their beautiful, crisp and clean white kitchen.
We chose the Ostia Pulls in Satin Nickel. They’re the perfect blend of classic and modern, which is the perfect compliment to this classic-meets-modern kitchen! Below are a few closeup shots of these elegant pulls. For your reference, we used 3 sizes throughout the entire space: 3″ handles on all of the smallest cabinets along the top, 128mm on the medium cabinets and drawers, and 196mm on the largest cabinets and drawers.
They’re delicate enough to help achieve that refined look they wanted, and substantial enough to add the visual weight we were looking for, that would make an impact in the space. The Satin Nickel finish is perfect in this monochromatic kitchen with cool metals throughout.
THE RESULT: A STUNNING WHITE KITCHEN UPDATE!
One of the simplest and most cost effective ways to update any kitchen is to change the hardware. For a minimal investment you can create a whole different look if you want to.
I tried to convince our friends to go with brass, but I struck out! They have very classic style and wanted the cabinet hardware to reflect that. There are just so many details to love about this kitchen! Keep scrolling through for more gorgeous shots!
I love the bank of cabinets on the stove wall – so much practical storage in these cupboards and adding only handles helps create a more upscale look.
A chic mix of white, glass, wood and marble accents is the perfect compliment to their beautiful kitchen.
SURPRISE! A BREAKFAST NOOK!
This is definitely my favorite part of their kitchen! What I would do to have a breakfast nook like this!
We filled it with a mix of both solid and printed pillows, all in grey and cream tones, for more of that luxe look.
The seat cushions, table and built-in benches (with storage inside!) were all custom made by local talent.
Below is another look into the mudroom, another one of my favorite parts of this home! It leads to a screened in porch, powder/laundry room through the door at the end and the garage. The flow of this space is perfect and so is the new hardware! I’m so happy with the results, but most importantly, our friends love it even more.Thank you so much for touring this beautiful white and grey kitchen with me today! I hope you love it as much as I do, and I hope this inspires you to update your hardware too! For a small cost, you can update the look of your kitchen, bathrooms or laundry room. Go bold for something totally different, or build on what you already have and refine it, like we did here. Keep scrolling further down to shop the look! xo
It’s Week Four of the One Room Challenge and things are really moving along! I can definitely see the finish line…

Do you know what color/brand the countertops are?
Hi! I believe they’re Quartz, but unfortunately I’m not sure of the exact name – they do look like Montblanc by Caesarstone. I hope that helps!
What color are the cabinets? My clients sent me your page and said they want these color cabinets.
Hi! I believe they are a bright white – there’s no paint color for them, they’re polyester cabinets. I wish I had more info for you! Thanks for stopping by!
