CHIC SUMMER DECOR INSPIRATION IN GORGEOUS BLUE AND GREEN

You know by now how much I love color and pattern sprinkled throughout our home from anything chinoiserie, to block prints, stripes, florals and more. This season you’ll find it all!

Our laundry room is in the middle of a mini refresh, we’ve installed the most gorgeous peel and stick wallpaper – it’s the polar opposite of the very dark walls we’ve had for the last fifteen years and it is stunning. A few years ago, I shared our newly installed resort style pool – this summer, our pool deck is getting a small update that I’m very excited about!

We updated our conversation area with this new, chic modular sofa, from Amazon Canada. Here is another, almost identical sofa (shown below). We also replaced our ivory lounger cushions (they’ve seen better days!) with elegant navy blue ones.

We’re adding some beautiful new outdoor pillows to this area as well – this chic cabana stripe pillow cover and this elegant greek key pillow cover, both in blue and white.

Lastly, we also have new living room drapes installed as well as new remote control roman shades in our kitchen, perfect for brightening up our home for the summer months.

Although the lighting is a little different in these two shots, you can see how much brighter our new drapes are. Don’t get me wrong, I still love our previous drapes too, they just give a different look and feel. Our summer entryway from a few years ago, shown above left, featuring beautiful blues and soft green florals as the focal point, as well as a more recent summer entryway, also with a similar floral combination. You may find these looks almost the same but small nuances make a difference!

Also notice the impact our oversized mirror has in here – it took me years to find the right piece for this space. We also have a new oushak rug coming – I don’t have a peek for you, it’s in the works now, stay tuned.
