I’m late with sharing this space, but it’s finally here! Our chic, festive dining room and tablescape for Christmas – layers of gorgeous, vibrant color mixed with beautiful pattern is such a beautiful way to celebrate the festivities of the season. This is my last Christmas post this year, just in time to inspire you to create a stunning, unique space for your holiday entertaining. I love that this look can be used right through to New Year’s celebrating as well. The joy of the season is so much fun! CHIC & FESTIVE DINING ROOM FOR CHRISTMAS

Welcome to our chic and festive dining room for Christmas! When I decorated this space for the season this year, I wanted a chic, unique look that makes a big statement.

One of my favorite ways to do that is with an oversized floral arrangement (you’ll find that throughout our home this season), stunning color and chic pattern.

You might remember this stunning block print pattern in our Christmas living room pillows. I used the matching block print tablecloth here in our dining room for Christmas, to pull the look throughout our home. I absolutely love the stunning color and print.

You may already know about my love for block prints – I have shared them time and time again and talked about my love for them often. I truly love the uniqueness they bring to any space or table.

Our home this Christmas is styled in a traditional holiday look, with red, blue, chinoiserie, plaid and gorgeous greenery. Here, in our dining room, you find gorgeous plaid bows on our chairs as you enter.

They draw you into the space, as your eye meanders over to our colorful red, blue, green and gold table. Accented with a classic plaid throw and plaid pillows, for a cozy and warm vibe.

FESTIVE AND COLORFUL CHRISTMAS TABLESCAPE

On our Christmas table you’ll find layer upon layer of visual interest. I found these gorgeous blue scalloped placemats to add a pop of contrasting color to my table – they tie into the space beautifully with all of the room’s blue accents.

I love how they pull our Christmas color palette together!

I also found these gorgeous, festive Christmas tree plates that I thought were the perfect detail to complement our tablecloth and green block print napkins.

The chic, gold chargers and white dishes help to break up the colors and lend a sense of calm so there’s not too many competing elements. Beautiful green glassware and gold flatware complete the look.

I always love to use these frosted red berry wreaths each year – they’re the perfect base for simple glass hurricanes and pretty Christmas tree candles.

Of course, I have to have a lush and full floral arrangement as our centerpiece. Such a statement!

I absolutely love seeing these stunning red florals and greenery throughout our home this year. So festive and beautiful! A simple and elegant white container creates gorgeous contrast.

I just love all of the rich and festive red and burgundy tones against all of the blue and white throughout our home as well, it’s a gorgeous pop of color and so happy…it celebrates the joy of the season!
