PAN FRIED SALMON WITH HONEY CHILI BUTTER
As usual, our monthly recipe tour is hosted by my very talented friend, Marty, of A Stroll Thru Life, I always love her recipes!
Please be sure to scroll to the very bottom for this month’s recipe roundup.
This dish is delicious and so fast to make, I like to serve it with a quick veggie stir-fry and jasmine rice.
You can serve this with any of your favorite sides, it goes with so many different things.
Quinoa, rice, cauliflower rice, steamed veggies, roasted potatoes…the possibilities are endless.
What’s very important about cooking this, is you want the salmon filets to be nice and crispy – make sure to fry them in butter, in a non-stick pan, on medium to high heat. That outer sear on the fish is crucial for amazing texture and flavor.
TIPS FOR THE HONEY CHILI BUTTER
The star of this pan fried salmon recipe, is the butter spread. It is an explosion of deliciousness in your mouth.
It’s sweet and savory combo is delectable, it is so simple to make and you an season it any way you like, if these flavors aren’t for you.
TIPS FOR MAKING THE BUTTER SREAD
- Make sure the butter is softened at room temperature, it’s much easier to mix.
- You can season the butter spread with just about anything you like to change the flavors of the recipe.
- Try thyme, oregano, dill, marjoram, rosemary…the possibilities are endless.
- You can use it as a spread for other cooked meats or even as a spread for bread…yummmmm.
When your salmon is cooked and plated, spread it over your filets and let it work it’s magic. It’s even amazing with the veggies and rice…truly a mouthwatering culinary experience!
