I decided to hop on the ‘framed vintage art in the kitchen trend’ – although years ago, I had some gorgeous art displayed in here!

I just love the layer of warmth and elegance it adds to our fall kitchen.

Digital art is such an inexpensive way to buy art for your home, especially if you like to change it often.

I decided to play off of the art with my own still life on our stove, using pears and figs styled in my footed bowl, for a rustic natural touch.

FALL KITCHEN DECORATING IDEAS: 3. USE DEEP, RICH COLORS FOR FLORALS AND ACCENTS

I wanted make a strong color statement in our kitchen this fall.

Yes, blue and gold are always present in our home, but I wanted a rich and sophisticated color palette to set the tone.

Here on our island, I created this beautiful faux arrangement using light blue and navy blue florals, and navy blue arrangements flanking our stove.

The mix of light and dark tones is just gorgeous and very rich looking.

My french blue ginger jars pull the look together and also echo the blues in our rug.

I’m thrilled with how warm and inviting this is!

Gold is a prominent metal all throughout our home, I’ve layered it in over the years with our lighting, hardware, pulls, door knobs, you name it.

I also love to use gold accessories as well, to elevate our home.

I layered just a couple of simple touches like our new brass salt mill and pepper mill and gold candleholders and picture frame.
