OUR ENTRYWAY CHRISTMAS DECOR: A TRADITIONAL HOLIDAY LOOK IN RED, BLUE + GREEN

|

Welcome to our Christmas entryway! This year, I wanted to make a bold statement in our home with a luxe, rich color palette that speaks to the tradition of the holiday season, accented with plaid and chinoiserie. Full, lush greenery, gorgeous plaid ribbon, layered, coordinating satin ribbons, red and gold berries…our entryway Christmas decor sets the tone for our Christmas home and it feels more festive than ever…this is my favorite holiday look to date!

Welcome guests for the holiday with a warm, welcoming feeling that’s classic and elegant, traditional and so chic with gorgeous color and pattern. Our entryway Christmas decor is simple but makes a big statement! I hope you enjoy and get inspired! You can shop our home and more Christmas decor in both my Amazon Shop, and LTK Shop too!

OUR CHRISTMAS ENTRYWAY

Our entryway is decked with a simple, elegant garland over our front door that we’ve used for the past few years, and I just love this look.

Dressing it up differently each year, this Christmas, I layered red berry garlands to coordinate with our Christmas living room garland, and added the layered ribbons that I’ve been using throughout our home this Christmas.

There’s just something about a classic Christmas home, that’s festive and full of beautiful color!

This year, I wanted elegant, traditional, classic Christmas decor and this color palette with red, blue and green just makes my heart so happy.

I’ve often talked about my Mama and her influence on my style, and this year’s entryway Christmas decor – and our whole home – is an homage to her. She would just love this year’s look so much!

You can see and read more in my Christmas tree post and Christmas living room post.

This is my favorite Christmas look so far without a doubt.

I think I say that every year, but truly there is something about these colors, the greenery, the plaid, the berries…the festive feel is so timeless, especially combined with my favorite blue and white.

I kept the decor on our console table very simple, to let the key pieces take center stage. A simple bowl filled with pretty ornaments, a gold tray filled with red berries, a ginger jar and vintage brass candlesticks.

Just a few simple elements to compliment the colors and to support the bigger, statement pieces.

That balance is key when decorating any space.

A STATEMENT-MAKING ARRANGEMENT + LUSH WREATH

I think I was the most excited about decorating our gorgeous Philipe mirror – when we added it here last spring’s entryway refresh, all I kept envisioning was how elegant it would look with a gorgeous, lush wreath for Christmas.

I wanted the wreath and mirror to be the standout pieces in here, but I also envisioned an oversized, lush arrangement to make a bold statement…very Ralph Lauren inspired.

I used loads of faux greenery picks mixed with red and gold berry picks, arranged in an oversized ginger jar of course, and dressed up with this Christmas season’s signature layered ribbon detail.

I love how this arrangement turned out. I just kept adding picks to get it as full as possible. You always need more than you think!

I have several different kinds in here, that I’ve collected through the years. Many of the berry picks are from the dollar store too!

I found two of these stunning, mixed greenery and red berry wreaths at our local HomeSense – I added a few greenery picks and more red berries for more fullness and color.

Dressed up with my layered ribbons, it is so festive and beautiful. It’s amazing what ribbon can do!

RED BERRY CHRISTMAS WREATH

This gorgeous wreath, which is similar to the new ones I found this year, is from Etsy – it’s an investment, but will surely last for many holiday seasons.

LUSH CHRISTMAS WREATH

This beautiful wreath, also similar, is a great alternative if you’re looking to spend less – I love the fullness of the greenery!

OUR FRONT DOOR + A PEEK INTO OUR DINING ROOM

I wanted to share our front door wreath, which I’ve shared before in our classic front porch in red, but this year I added our plaid ribbon to tie it together with our interior Christmas decor.

I love how it connects to our dining room Christmas decor as well – stay tuned, this space is coming soon! Here’s a quick peek for now…

I kept the decor in our dining room very simple this Christmas, with just a few key elements.

Elegant greenery, red berries and layered ribbon of course!

It is easy to create a stunning, elegant Christmas look with just a few pieces. It really doesn’t have to be complicated!
