FALL ENTRYWAY STYLED IN GORGEOUS BROWNS, GREENS AND BLUES
Welcome to our fall entryway – this year, our home is layered with a beautiful brown and blue color palette, accented with touches of gorgeous greens. If you missed our fall bedroom, you’ll see the gorgeous colors we’ve incorporated into that space as well. I love bringing fall into our home with color and pattern rather than a lot of seasonal decor, and this year I kept our entryway simply styled with a gorgeous statement floral arrangement, as I often have in here, accented with simple accessories and layered with beautiful pillows and artwork – all working together to speak to the season and welcome friends and family. I wanted the colors to be soft and sophisticated rather than overly autumnal, so everything blends beautifully with my favorite blue and white pieces I already have throughout the space and the rest of our fall home as well. The result feels warm and welcoming, elegant and chic. Come in and have a look around.

A STATEMENT FLORAL ARRANGEMENT

As you enter our home this fall, you’re greeted by a soft, beautiful color palette that sets the stage for what’s to come. Simply styled with some of my favorite pieces, the feeling is warm, welcoming and elegant.

The focal point of our fall entryway is my large green and white ginger jar filled with a stunning, oversized floral arrangement in beautiful shades of brown. I always love to make a strong statement with florals, it’s a beautiful way to celebrate the season you’re in and bring in color and texture.

This gorgeous ginger jar has been on display in our home since it’s debut in our spring kitchen – it was a splurge but so worth it. It’s a beautiful statement piece and looks so gorgeous with any florals that I use with it. I’m so excited to see it styled with Christmas greenery and ribbon – it’s going to be a stunner, I can’t wait to share!

I often love using one large arrangement as the star of the show, as you my already know, as well as keeping everything around it simple so it really shines. This arrangement brings in warm fall tones without needing much additional decor. Here, I’ve used 10 brown blossom stems, 10 brown thistle stems and 10 beige floral stems to create this beautiful floral display.

I stopped using themed fall decor inside our home a long time ago – instead the focus is on pattern, color and texture to tell a seasonal story. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for the pumpkins too if that is what brings you joy! My point is, use whatever you love to style your home the way you want – it’s yours after all!

I kept our console table styling intentionally pared back, using a few of my favorite design books as anchors for accessories, as I usually do. A beautiful sculptural shell, crystal and coral accents add subtle layers of texture, natural tones and interest – there aren’t too many things competing for attention.

I also love using the lids from my ginger jars as decorative objects on their own. They’re beautiful sculptural pieces as well, and when I’m using a jar for an arrangement, I’ll often display its lid next to it, on a stack of books or another shelf.

The bottom shelf of the console table adds another layer of color and pattern with a simple trio of blue and white planters and jars – these are some of my favorites pieces that I’ve had for years. It’s a small detail, but I love how it brings the blues from the surrounding spaces onto the table, balances the blue books on the top shelf and keeps the overall palette visually connected.
LAYERING WARM BROWNS FURTHER INTO OUR HOME

On our two chairs, which bring your eye further into our home, I added my tan Les Touches pillow covers, which carry the warm brown tones into this little transition space. The abstract seasonal artwork is a similar soft, earthy palette.

As you know, I love using digital prints in spaces like this because they’re affordable, easy to change, and make it so simple to refresh your artwork from season to season and give your space a mini refresh without costing much at all.

The finished look of our fall entryway is warm, welcoming and elegant, with accessories in colors and patterns that feel curated and collected rather than overly decorated.

It’s a simple fall refresh brought together with intentional accessories – sometimes a beautiful arrangement, a few thoughtful pieces and the right mix of texture, color and pattern are all you need to make a space feel ready for a new season.
