GORGEOUS BLUE, GOLD + SILVER CHRISTMAS ENTRYWAY DECOR

|

Welcome to my Christmas entryway! I was very excited to get this space styled for the holidays since we installed our faux blue grasscloth last summer. I’m still loving these walls so much, they create the prettiest backdrop, especially against our beautiful 10′ BH Fir garland from Balsam Hill and lush greenery on our console table – the stars of my Christmas entryway decor.

I’m thrilled as always, to be be joining an amazing blogging group this week, hosted by my very talented friend, Marty, from A Stroll Thru Life. It’s always so much fun to team up with so much talent! If you’re coming from Marty’s blog, welcome to CitrineLiving! Marty’s Christmas home is just gorgeous isn’t it?

Come in and take a look at our Christmas entryway decor, where I’ve combined a gorgeous mix of different blue ribbons, gold and silver Christmas accessories, paired with beautiful greenery to create an elegant and inviting space. I hope you love it!

OUR CHRISTMAS ENTRYWAY DECOR
Christmas entryway decor with lush garlands and blue and gold accents.

If you’ve seen our Christmas living room and Christmas tree and garland, you’ve seen this beautiful greenery from Balsam Hill fully dressed in gorgeous blue and gold ornaments that are truly spectacular.Christmas entryway decorated with greenery, garland and blue ribbons.I decided to pare back here on our entryway garland and use a simple, beautiful blue velvet ribbon to dress it up.

We love the feeling it gives to our home, hanging over front door.

It’s the opposite look of our living room garland and I love it just as much! Simple can be just as stunning as fully decked out, and I am a maximalist at heart!Elegant christmas entryway decorated with greenery, blue ribbon and gold and silver decor.Green and blue is such a beautiful, classic color combination, and the added metallic accents with our gorgeous champagne glimmer pillows add so much warmth to this space as well.

The trick to decorating with cool colors, for me at least, is warming them up with neutrals.

That can be through textiles or finishes…warm metals, wood accents, beautiful pillows…Christmas entryway decor with green garland and wreath, mercury glass trees, hurricane lamps and gold and silver ornaments. Our entryway is bright and open and you can see it from all angles of our open concept home.

With greenery touches throughout our Christmas home this year, I decided to add a lot of greenery in here to play up our blue walls and make a big, bold statement that’s still classic and elegant feeling.Console table decorated for Christmas with greenery, blue ribbon, ornaments, light blue ginger jar and mercury glass trees.

I went simple with the styling on our console table, and used a series of greenery bushes that I’ve had for a few years, to create the look of garland.

I’ve used these bushes for so many things over the years!

That’s one thing I can say about my plethora of Christmas decor – I love to repurpose it and use it in different ways as much as I can.Entryway decorated for Christmas with greenery, blue ribbon, mercury glass trees, silver and gold ornaments.I used them in our Christmas living room a few years ago, arranged in my favorite blue and white chinoiesrie vases.

Last year, I used them as part of our living room garland to help to make it a little longer and fuller looking.Console table with beautiful Christmas greenery with blue berries, hurricane lantern, ginger jar and mercury glass Christmas tree.

I love the very subtle frosted look of the leaves and the little blue berries, perfect for my blue and gold decorating theme this year.

A symmetrical arrangement on top of the table is always chic and classic.

If you know me, you know how much I love to use symmetry – did you see our Christmas kitchen shelves last week? A little bit of symmetry goes a long way!Elegant Christmas entryway decor with lush greenery, blue ribbons, frosted green wreath, ginger jar, hurricanes and mercury glass trees.Of course a few fairy lights sprinkled in the greenery and gold wrapped gift boxes always add some holiday magic.

A layered wreath (similar) hangs on the mirror and a soft blue taffeta bow hanging below, helps to pull all of my blues together.

The wreath is hanging with a command hook and the ribbon, stapled to the back of the mirror, serves as an accent to balance my beautiful bow.

I used some frosted picks to fill in the wreath to give it more fullness too – which I’ve also had for a few years.

It takes me a few weeks to get all of the decorating done, but I do have to say once it is, it always makes me smile. Then it usually all comes down right after Christmas!Elegant Christmas entryway decorated with greenery, garlands and blue ribbon.I love the festive feel with all the layers of greenery in this space, especially seeing our garland outside peeking through the sidelight windows around our door.

I don’t have a shot here today, but at night it is such a beautiful setting in here with glow of the lights and candles.Entryway decorated for Christmas with green garland and wreath, mercury glass trees and silver and gold ornaments, accented with blue ribbon.I can definitely appreciate all the hard work that goes into my holiday decorating, it’s nice to have it all finished!

I have one more Christmas post coming to the blog next week so stay tuned for our dining room with just a few elegant holiday touches.

After that, I’ll be able to sit back and really enjoy our holiday home for a couple of weeks before it all comes down.Entryway styled for Christmas with a lush green garland swag over the door with beautiful blue velvet ribbon. Thanks for touring with me today!
