Spring is in the air inside our home and I can’t tell you how excited I’m getting with the longer days and soon-to-be warmer weather. One month to go and it will be here! Do you get as excited as I do? We have the longest (and very cold) winters, and I am so ready to bring on spring in our home, and that’s exactly what I’m doing. Today, I’m bringing it to you as well, with some very elegant spring entryway decorating that is sure to get you inspired for the new season too.
Gorgeous ginger jars in the palest hint of blue, our chic and sophisticated new console table that doubles as a desk (the styling possibilities are endless), beautiful faux blooms and just the right amount of accessories to compliment it all. Welcome your guests this spring with an elegant and sophisticated space to greet them!
Iād like to extend a HUGE thank you to Lauren Haskell Designs for generously providing our new console table and ginger jars. Affiliate links are provided throughout this post ā see my full disclosure policy here.
OUR NEW CHINOISERIE-CHIC CONSOLE TABLE
When this beauty arrived, it was too gorgeous not to try it out in our entryway – you know, just to see if I liked it (wink, wink). Lo and behold, this is now it’s newfound home. Just too beautiful not to showcase for everyone to see. I’m still searching for that bedroom desk, but that’s for another day!
This desk was the absolute perfect find for our entryway and I can’t wait to style for years to come. It’s a timeless addition to our home that I know I’ll always love. It also comes in many different colors and has other hardware options to choose from. So many options to fall in love with…
FAUX SPRING BLOSSOMS ARE ALWAYS A SURE THING
There’s just something so beautifully significant about budding branches…a sign of new possibilities to come. Faux florals can be as beautiful as the real thing, and they last forever. I love faux flowers and have been using them for years and years and years.
Here, I’ve gathered some faux spring blossoms and pussy willow branches – a combination of stems from my local dollar store, Dollarama, and Michaels.
GINGER JARS, CORAL SCULPTURES + PRETTY DETAILS
You know me and my ginger jars! Since I have a major addiction, and could literally cover every surface with them, I just had to add to my collection with these latest beauties, also from Lauren Haskell Design.
This color is hydrangea – the softest, palest, prettiest shade of blue imaginable. I love this hue and how light and pretty it feels in our home.
You can get a better sense of the color below – especially with my beautiful new gold-trimmed tray, also from Lauren’s shop. Everything from her shop is hand-painted and fired for a beautiful, durable finish, and it’s also food and water safe. That elegant gold edge is also hand-painted in 22K gold…just my style ;)
My tray is the medium size, 9.25 x 5.5 x 1.25″ – the perfect catchall for keys, jewelry, makeup…anything you want.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Spring vignette without a grouping my go-to coral sculptures that I always love to use. They’re so fun to style – classic pieces that stand the test of time and work with any style decor.
ELEGANT SPRING ENTRYWAY DECORATING
This soft color palette creates such a fresh, light and airy feeling in our home to welcome guests and set the tone for the rest of our spring decor throughout the house.
The palest of blues, soft whites and greys…layers of ethereal neutral tones make such a beautiful statement all together. Accented with my favorite brass and gold finishes are always a must in our house!
I borrowed these to shoot them here for this post – they work in every room in our home. I tried them in our bedroom also (check out my bedroom update here) and just loved them on our bed. I just may have to get some more to add to our bedroom too ;)
