SIMPLE FALL DECOR IN OUR ENTRYWAY: CHIC, SOPHISTICATED + ELEGANT

Welcome to our fall entryway! Today I’m sharing simple fall decor that’s chic, sophisticated and elegant. A look I always strive to achieve throughout our home. If you’re new here, you’ll notice that my fall decorating style is a little different than what you might find elsewhere. Over the last few years I’ve leaned into a more sophisticated approach to decorating for the season. I love to focus on color, texture and pattern to create a seasonal fall mood. You can visit our fall living room and our fall dining room to see how I’ve used this decorating approach in these spaces as well. While I certainly love autumnal styling like pumpkins and foliage, I’ve found I’ve used less of it and more simple fall decor in our home. SIMPLE, FALL DECOR AND STYLE

As you enter our home, you’re immediately enveloped in gorgeous blue walls – our faux grasscloth wallpaper lends a coastal feel to this space and is probably one of my favorite things in our home.

You’d think it might be tricky to create a fall look in a space like this, since it has a coastal feel, but it isn’t at all.

Our blue walls are so inviting and welcoming – I love them so much, we recently added this other similar wallpaper to our living room bookshelves, and we also have another similar one in our small bathroom.

I always say blue is a neutral – think of the sea and the sky, or your favorite pair of jeans – it goes with everything. It’s my favorite color and you’ll find it threaded throughout our home as a constant design element.

Blue and white chinoiserie is another staple you’ll always find throughout our home – it’s always a classic that goes just about anywhere. I’ve been collecting pieces now for many years.

When I found this stunning blue and white Ralph Lauren lamp at HomeSense, I was SO thrilled! I’d seen it almost two years ago in Florida, I loved it so much, I almost shipped two of them home.

I’ve been on the hunt ever since and I finally found one. It’s such a beauty! It goes perfectly in our home and I love it here in our entryway.

FALL DECORATING DETAILS: CHIC, SIMPLE STYLE

Taking a closer look at our console table, you’ll see just how simple everything is here. A few key pieces are all you need to create a stunning look.

Just because it’s fall doesn’t mean you have to remove your favorite pieces that may not speak to the season.

I love the coastal touches we have throughout our home and they make me happy – my beautiful conch shell is so pretty with all that texture – I love to use it here on a regular basis.

This beautiful and lush faux hydrangea arrangement is gorgeous against our blue wallpaper and gold mirror. Paired with chic gold accents, ivory accessories and my new lamp, I’m loving the mood that this simple fall decor creates.

This pair of vintage gold candlesticks are some of my favorites from my mother-in-law, our brass cross from our church is a reminder that God is ever-present in our home, my newfound lamp reminds my of my beautiful Mama in Heaven. She would adore these burgundy florals too.

The gold tray adds visual balance to our console table and my conch shell and design book are favorite pieces to decorate with.

Finally, I changed our gold frames and added new artwork using chic, downloadable ginger jar prints for a warmer look. It’s such an affordable way to add beautiful art to your space.
