ELEGANT FALL DECOR IN OUR ENTRYWAY

This year’s elegant fall decor look is very simple, as is so much of my decorating lately. I’m finding myself turning to a simple look (for me that is!) more and more.

Like so many people, life is so busy and I don’t have a ton of time for decorating – even with this being my business! I need to keep it simple.

Our home is not large and it’s an open floor plan, so everything is visible from each room. I always like to have a cohesive color palette throughout, to tie each space together.

If you remember, we made some changes to our entryway last spring (see more in my spring entryway post), with our new Phillipe mirror (ours is 35 x 47″) that is truly a stunning addition. It’s definitely an investment piece, but will last forever.

It has so much impact with its large scale and it is such a classic and elegant staple. A great mirror goes a long way.

Large gold mirror, ivory lamps, blue grasscloth wallpaper, autumn floral arrangement are chic and elegant in this entryway.

ELEGANT FALL DECOR: OUR CONSOLE TABLE DETAILS

I swapped our gorgeous blue lamps that made their debut in here last spring (and are currently in our living room), for our chic, ivory living room lamps and I’m loving the switch right now.

I wanted a little less of a punch of color and a more subdued look here for fall – these do the job effortlessly.

A blue and white jar with berries and leaves is a chic fall centerpiece.

A very simple, yet elegant floral and berry arrangement in one of my favorite blue and white jars sits at the center of this elegant fall vignette.

Elegant fall decor on a light grey console table - vintage gold candlesticks, blue and white jar with an autumn arrangement.

I used our vintage brass candlesticks to flank my elegant fall centerpiece for a warm nod to the past.

I love mixing vintage finds into our home and I’m loving the glow of candlelight!

Blue and white pottery in varied sizes anchors a beautifully decorated fall console table.

A very minimalistic, sculptural bowl sits on the middle shelf by itself to keep the styling on our console table clean and uncluttered.

It can be tricky to style a table with multiple shelves, you don’t want a busy look – even for a maximalist like me! I always try to keep it simple here for that reason.

The bottom shelf of our console table houses some of my favortie blue and white jars and planters.

You can achieve this same idea with a collection of your own pottery if you don’t have blue and white pieces – keep the colors somewhat monochromatic, or all within the same range.

SIMPLE FALL DECORATING TIPS

Elegant fall decor in an entryway with a warm toned berry and leaf arrangement, flanked by ivory lamps on a console table.

You might remember these chic, embroidered pillows from our fall living room last year – I love these so much, I’m using them again this season, both in this space and our living room. They have such a gorgeous, luxe look, and they have a Ralph Lauren feel that I’m always so drawn to.

By the way, I just ordered his new book, Ralph Lauren A Way of Living and I cannot wait to get it and pour through the pages for inspiration.

I layered an elegant pashmina shawl on the chair (that I wear all the time), in this beautiful camel color – it’s such an easy, inexpensive way to add visual interest to any space.

Gorgeous, brass vintage candlesticks always bring in a feeling of nostalgia and are a perfect touch to add during cooler months, while a warm-toned arrangement speaks to the season.
