ELEGANT FALL DECORATING IDEAS: OUR NEW PIECES FOR THE SEASON
Fall is almost here and although we’re having the hottest weather we’ve had all summer long, it’s time to pack away the summer decor and start incorporating my fall decor throughout our home. Today I’m sharing some elegant fall decorating ideas with timeless pieces that will dress up our home in the coming weeks. I always use classic accents that I know will stand the test of time. You’ve seen me rotate so many pieces from season to season, year to year, incorporated with a few new, key items.
It always makes me so sad to say goodbye to the best season of the year, there’s nothing like long daylight hours, al fresco dining, and this year, lingering poolside for hours (working with my laptop in hand, of course), the list goes on. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end and the cooler temps will start rolling in.
Fall prepping is here…keep reading to see the elegant fall home decor you’ll find in our home this season. Don’t forget you can always shop my favorite picks, our home decor and so much more in my Amazon Shop and LTK Shop. xo

Last fall, I styled our kitchen with a gorgeous mix of deep, rich blues and it was so stunning with all of my gold accents.
I’m pulling inspiration from there, and styling the same navy blue peonies and hydrangeas in our living room this year to make a chic, bold statement in one of my favorite ginger jars – it’ll compliment our fall pillows beautifully too.

FALL LIVING ROOM
Chic navy, tan, warm whites and gold creates a warm and inviting space.
A TOUCH OF RALPH LAUREN
Keeping with our home’s usual color palette of blue, white, beige, ivory, gold and grey, I’m layering in darker, richer tones with my palette, to add a luxe richness for the fall season.
COZY LAYERS FOR FALL
Layer your space with this cozy plaid throw in beautiful earth tones.
Inspired by Ralph Lauren‘s iconic, classic American decorating style, I’m infusing layers of checks and plaid with my pillow covers and throws, rich velvet and this beautiful embroidered floral pattern pillow cover, which I also used last year in our fall living room. I’m excited to see these all come together!
CHIC COFFEE TABLE BOOK
A biography of the amazing life and career of the design icon himself and his impact on American culture.
I’ve had my eye on a few different books written by the designer himself, as well as about his iconic life. He has always been one of my all-time favorites and I always love to draw inspiration from his interiors and fashion collections.
NEW LIVING ROOM DRAPERY
I’m so excited to share that I’ve decided to install custom drapes in our living room, after thirteen years of living in our home! We don’t need them for privacy, but the right window coverings certainly make a statement in any room.
OUR NEW CUSTOM DRAPES
I’ll hopefully be featuring these new beauties with our fall living room – with our 11′ ceilings these will be show stopping…stay tuned!
Since we have eleven foot ceilings in our living room, we’ve decided to go full height with our new drapes, so these beauties are approximately 123″ in length. They’re still being made, but hopefully we’ll be hanging them soon!
STUNNING BRASS HARDWARE
I chose this gorgeous brass hardware from Ballard Designs to compliment all of our home’s brass accents.
Above is the hardware we bought, from the Classic collection at Ballard Designs – classic lines that are timeless, elegant and so beautiful. It will look stunning once it’s all installed.
Stay tuned for my fall decor all coming to CL Blog in the next few weeks – I’m a little bit later this year than normal, but I promise I’ll be sharing soon! xo
