ORGANIZATION AND STORAGE FOR ANY SPACE IN YOUR HOME!

|

Happy New Year and Happy January! I hope you’ve all had restful and enjoyable holidays! Ours were very nice with a little bit of everything thrown in. I took a break from work, and I’m back today to share a quick roundup of organization and storage pieces that will help you get your year off to a fresh start.

I personally don’t love to organize, but when I roll up my sleeves and get it done, it’s so rewarding afterward. It’s one of those things I need to force myself to do, but I’m always so happy when I’m done.

I’m also sharing a couple of our favorite organizing projects today in case you need some inspiration to get started on something you’ve been wanting to tackle. You can head to my Amazon Shop to see some my favorite organizing items that I have linked over there as well…time to get things done!

ORGANIZATION AND STORAGE ROUNDUP

OUR LINEN CLOSET MAKEOVER

Does your linen closet need a makeover? Ours was in dire need of one a few years ago. You can read all about our linen closet makeover – there are a ton of very useful tips that I think you’ll enjoy.

From cluttered, over stuffed, unorganized and unsightly to clean, crisp, organized and beautiful!

Baskets, bins, jars and a whole lot of purging is what helped me achieve these results.

LINED BASKETS

Corral utilitarian items in pretty lined baskets.

I tackled this project over a few days time, and while it was a ton of work, it was worth every minute. I can honestly say it’s stayed basically the same since.

There may be a few extras in here now, but I’ve managed to keep it clutter free and as organized as you see here.

OUR MUDROOM + LAUNDRY ROOM MAKEOVER

Laundry room organized with woven baskets and decorated with blue and white textiles.

Our mudroom/laundry room makeover was another space I tackled in recent years, simply by adding new woven baskets to keep everything contained, as well as updated hardware, lighting and some pretty decor, of course.

With a few simple updates and organizing staples, our laundry room went from utilitarian to gorgeous.

WOVEN BASKETS

Keep the clutter under control with pretty and practical baskets.

I still would love a light and fresh coat of new paint to brighten up this space. One day I’ll get around to it! I may add a new runner and recover the bench again also. Added to the list!

ORGANIZED KITCHEN DRAWERS

Kitchen drawers with brass pulls, open drawers with beautiful blue and white dishes and bowls.

Our organized kitchen drawers was one of my favorite projects and it made such a big difference in our home! Major decluttering, purging and adding simple trays and bins helped us to get it all under control.

CUTLERY TRAY

Keep your flatware under control and from sliding all over the place.

It’s really amazing how good it feels to clear out clutter and get rid of anything you don’t need. I could probably do a little refresh in a few drawers, and some kitchen cupboards can use some clearing out that’s for sure.
