It’s a new year and what better way to start it off than with a new decorating refresh! Today I’m sharing some very beautiful finds for your home – some are splurges and some are very affordable finds. Decor ideas, bedroom ideas and chic pillow covers to get your decorating juices flowing! Getting our homes back to normal after the holidays can be a daunting task – there are always so many things to organize and clean out to make room for the new things we may have received as gifts, or bought on sale (guilty over here!). Personally, I recently purged my closet to make room for some new items – it always feels SO good once you clean things out! I’m also in the middle of (for a few months now) purging my storage space in our basement, where I keep my rotation of goodies you see here on CL Blog.

HOME DECOR IDEAS TO FRESHEN UP YOUR HOME

I’m on the hunt for a pair of blue and white lamps and the lamp pictured above is on my wish list! I’ve been scouring the internet, FB Marketplace and HomeSense in hopes of finding the perfect pair. I’ll keep you posted with what I find!

The obelisk is such a timeless classic accessory – I have a mirrored one that my sister in law bought me many years ago, and I’ll be bringing back out this spring. I’d love a collection in different sizes too.

I also really love these timeless gold frames and this Instagram-viral cordless lamp that everyone is sharing – it is so cute and chic! The burlwood box is another home decor classic that I’ve had for many years also – it’s time to bring that piece out again too!

BEDROOM DECOR IDEAS FOR A JANUARY REFRESH

I’ve been conjuring up ways to refresh our bedroom with some new throw pillows and bedding lately. Aren’t those scalloped pillow covers the prettiest? They come in many colors too and such a great price.

I’m loving the addition of green in here – I used it in different shades in our summer living room last year and also this Christmas (if you’re new around here). It’s the perfect pairing for blue, which is dominant in our home’s color palette.

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve changed things up in that space – you can visit our bedroom refresh (shown above) from two years ago to get some ideas if you’re looking for ways to create calming retreat of your own.
