ORGANIZATION AND STORAGE ROUNDUP

OUR LINEN CLOSET MAKEOVER

Does your linen closet need a makeover? Ours was in dire need of one a few years ago. You can read all about our linen closet makeover and learn how I achieved this final look.

This closet was a giant mess, with years of piled up clutter that just kept growing. When I finally rolled up my sleeves to tackle it, it was exhilarating when I finished!

Baskets, bins, jars and a whole lot of purging is what helped me power through it!

LINED BASKETS

Corral utilitarian items in pretty lined baskets.

I personally don’t love to organize, but when I roll up my sleeves and get it done, it’s so rewarding. It’s one of those things I need to force myself to do, but I’m always so happy when I’m done!

I tackled this project over a few days time, and while it was a ton of work, it was worth every minute. I can honestly say it’s stayed almost the same since.

LINEN CLOSET MAKEOVER

From cluttered, over stuffed, unorganized and unsightly to clean, crisp, organized and beautiful!

There may be a few extras in here now, but I’ve managed to keep it clutter free and as organized as you see here.

OUR MUDROOM + LAUNDRY ROOM MAKEOVER

Laundry room organized with woven baskets and decorated with blue and white textiles.

Our mudroom and laundry room makeover was another space I tackled in recent years, simply by adding new woven baskets to keep everything contained, as well as updated our hardware, rug, window treatment, lighting and some pretty decor, of course!

WOVEN BASKETS

Keep the clutter under control with pretty and practical baskets.

I still would love a light and fresh coat of new paint to brighten up this space. The dark walls are very practical though, especially in such a high traffic space in our home.

I’ve since changed the rug to a gorgeous blue and white runner (also seen in our Christmas kitchen), linked above – it adds a really beautiful pop of color in our laundry room.

BEAUTIFUL RUNNER

I recently used this in our Christmas kitchen and fell in love with it in there. It’s a great price for the quality and adds a gorgeous pop of color.

With a few simple updates and organizing staples, our laundry room went from utilitarian to gorgeous.

ORGANIZED KITCHEN DRAWERS

Kitchen drawers with brass pulls, open drawers with beautiful blue and white dishes and bowls.

Our organized kitchen drawers was one of my favorite projects and it made such a big difference in our home! Major decluttering, purging and adding simple trays and bins helped us to get it all under control.

There are things in our kitchen that need tackling again since I organized these drawers a few years ago. If you haven’t seen it yet, we recently did a gorgeous kitchen update, which got my organization and storage wheels turning again!

ORGANIZED KITCHEN DRAWERS

Decluttered and organized kitchen drawers means a place for everything and everything in its place.

We have some new drawers and upper cabinets, so I’m in the process of moving some things around in our kitchen, what to purge and what to keep. It’s amazing how good it feels to clear out clutter and get rid of anything you don’t need.

CUTLERY TRAY

Keep your flatware under control and from sliding all over the drawer with these pretty and practical trays.

Our small kitchen pantry, which was made over quite a few years ago, is ready for another makeover soon. Bigger kids, different diets, different needs! I’ll definitely be sharing if I get around to tackling that again.
