COLORFUL ENTRYWAY DECORATED FOR SPRING
Spring is such a fun time of the year to decorate, it’s a time to bring fresh ideas and newness into our homes. I love the idea of renewal and growth and I find myself being more and more drawn to color as the seasons and years pass by. We’ve been in this home for fourteen years already – which seems impossible to me! We’ve seen a lot of changes in here through the years and I’m always looking for ways to create something new. I love the vibrant layers you’ll find this season in our colorful entryway – I added some beautiful pops of red and orange with just a few simple, key pieces. It’s amazing how much you can add to any room but just changing or adding a few small things.

USING A COLORFUL, STATEMENT ART PIECE

To complement my artwork, beautiful faux florals add a touch of elegance and freshness to this space.
I always love to create a full, lush arrangement and these gorgeous faux peonies are some of my favorites – they’re the perfect faux florals to elevate any space.
What I love about faux florals (I use them all the time!), is that they offer the beauty of real flowers without the maintenance, allowing you to enjoy them all year long, if you like.

DECORATE WITH COLORFUL ACCENTS
To create a beautiful colorful entrway for spring, you only need small doses of beautiful hues.
I found the most gorgeous red and white ginger jar at HomeSense to arrange my faux peonies in.
As I mentioned earlier, if you saw our spring living room a few weeks ago, you’ll recognize it’s beautiful pattern – it coordinates with two other jars from the same collection, featured on our buffet.
You’ll also notice my color theme and seasonal motifs that are repeated throughout our home – like the artwork and pillows, it’s all part of telling the story.
The stunning pop of red is gorgeous in our colorful entryway against our chic, gold statement mirror, faux blue grasscloth wallpaper, vibrant pillow covers, and of course, next to my chic statement art.
DECORATING TIP
Draw color inspiration from one piece and pull your colors from there. This spring, I used our gorgeous pillow covers as the jumping off point for my vibrant color palette and story theme throughout our home.
Notice how all of the colors are working together in harmony here in our colorful entryway – from my beautiful new ginger jar, to the gorgeous art and my bold, vibrant pillow covers, that all flow into our home for a cohesive look.

It’s no secret that I often love to infuse a coastal look throughout our home, especially for the warmer months.
