CLASSIC + CHIC SPRING KITCHEN DECOR

It’s finally here! Today I’m sharing my spring kitchen decor and I’m loving how it turned out. What’s new this spring? More blue and white, of course! Layers of faux florals and touches of green that bring in color and vibrancy.

Our spring kitchen last year also showcased blue and white with faux flowers, but in a cleaner and more subdued look.

This year’s styling is a little more layered for a collected and homey feel. Come and take the tour with me and tell me what you think!

SPRING KITCHEN DECORATING IDEAS

With spring, comes color and newness and I wanted to bring that feeling into our spring kitchen decor.

I’ve been using the same blue area rug in here since I bought it for last fall’s kitchen decor, and the punch of color it brings to this space is incredible.

It reflects onto our black island, giving it a slightly blueish hue, which I really love.Spring kitchen decorating with florals, blue and white, ginger jars and greenery.I also layered many blue pieces throughout the space for a fresh and vibrant spring look.Beautiful kitchen styled for spring with faux florals, blue and white chinoiserie, and green accents.

SPRING DECORATING AROUND OUR RANGESpring kitchen decorating - range hood styled with ginger jars and faux flowers on each side is a beautiful focal point.

I always love to style and create symmetry around our range with something substantial and my white ginger jars are the perfect pieces for a pretty focal point.Spring kitchen decor with blue and white chinoiserie and faux florals.I love layering my jars with blue and white pieces for some added color.

These blue and white ginger jars are my favorite, they were my mother’s and I’ve coveted them for so many years.

She finally let me bring them home last year to add to my own collection.

They’re near and dear to my heart and will always keep her close to me…Ginger jar with faux hydrangeas for spring.Kitchen range hood styled for spring with pretty ginger jars and faux florals. Ginger jar with faux florals.

They last forever! I never get tired of them.

STYLING OUR SINK AND BUILT-IN SHELVES Spring decorated kitchen with blue and white chinoiserie accents and hydrangeas.

I was so excited when I found these hydrangeas at the grocery store – yes they’re real and still alive!

Another new and favorite piece – my gorgeous, vintage blue and white platter.

I borrowed this one from our parents’  home. It holds a lot of sentimentality and is so gorgeous here. Blue and white accents styled on kitchen shelves for spring.I think one of my sisters may want it though…at least I have it in pictures!Spring kitchen decorating with blue rug, blue and white accents, faux flowers and green touches.

I almost swapped it for something else, I’m really happy I didn’t!

We built our home almost twelve years ago, and although there are a lot of updates I’d love to make in here, I still do love it.

I dream of a new range hood (this one is starting to yellow) and glass fronted, counter-to-ceiling cabinets on each side.Kitchen decorated for spring with faux flowers and blue and white accents.

Big dreams, I know. It may have to wait.

For now, I can still appreciate our kitchen/my home office.

Hi Kim, it’s black! I don’t have the name unfortunately – it was the only black available when we built our home!
