CHIC LAYERED FALL TABLESCAPE AND DINING ROOM DECOR: AN ELEGANT AND WELCOMING LOOK

The light is most definitely shifting in our home. You know it’s fall when the sun hits a lower than in the spring and summer months. With the fading light and all of our trees outside, our layered fall home is starting to feel very cozy and warm for the season. If you’ve had a chance to visit our fall entryway and fall bedroom look, you’ll remember this same color palette that’s threaded throughout each room. Beautiful brown tones paired with gorgeous greens, along with my staple blue and white pieces – it’s a chic mix that’s absolutely perfect for the season. Our fall tablescape is layered in these earthy hues as well with added gold elements – a table that’s elegant and refined but also so welcoming and warm! We’ve also dressed up our windows with some new pieces for more warmth and elegance. A GORGEOUS LAYERED TABLESCAPE LOOK!

Welcome to our fall dining room, where the color palette echoes the rest of our home and our fall tablescape is layered with gorgeous pattern and special details. There’s something about setting a table for the season that makes our dining room feel instantly more inviting welcoming.

I started with one my favorite block print tablecloths, in this gorgeous, earthy green and built the place settings from there, layering these stunning brown and white vintage-inspired dishes, my classic white scalloped dishes and gold chargers for a little extra warmth and elegance.

My mother’s silverware and a mix of vintage brass napkin rings from my mother in law are some of my favorite details on this fall tablescape – they add a personal touch that makes it feel special and collected, rather than overly styled.

These beautiful brown and white print napkins add another gorgeous layer to the mix. I love the little bird motif among the pretty flourishes in the pattern.

I used a mix of simple, clear wine glasses and these beautiful, warm amber glasses with an embossed vintage look, that adds to the curated look I love to bring to a table.

For the centerpiece, I wanted something that felt abundant and seasonal without being too formal. So I opted for a simple, lush arrangement. These faux brown hydrangeas are the perfect touch, arranged in my blue and white jar (similar) – another piece from my mama.

My gold greek key tray, which adds another subtle layer of pattern and shine underneath it all, sits amongst petite, mercury glass votive candles that add more sparkle and glow.

I love how the rich brown tones of the flowers, dishware and napkins bring out the warmth in the rest of the table – these colors together are truly so beautiful for fall.

FALL DINING ROOM DECORATING

Our dining room has taken on a warmer, cozier feeling for the fall season, with the same color palette that I’m using throughout our home as I’ve mentioned. Green, brown, blue and white come together beautifully here, with touches of gold adding chic elegance.

I love how my block print tablecloth, hydrangeas and accessories bring more visual interest to the room as well.

The blue block print pillows on our settee are also the same ones I’ve used in our bedroom and living room (coming soon!) this season, which is such an easy way to create a sense of continuity as you move through our home. I borrowed the rich brown check blanket from our living room sofa for these shots and it’s perfect in here as well – such a gorgeous color!

We also added some new elements to our window that elevate the look in here as well. New, fuller drapery panels, a beautiful new brass drapery rod with elegant glass ball finials, and a warm, natural motorized bamboo shade.

The combination of the natural bamboo, tailored drapery and elegant brass feels so pretty together and brings another layer of texture and warmth to the space. The bamboo shade picks up all the beige tones of the upholstery and is a gorgeous addition to our dining room.

With the table set and the windows dressed for the season, our dining room feels ready for fall entertaining. It’s a room that I want to feel elegant and sophisticated, but comfortable and approachable, where everything works together without feeling too perfect.
