CHINOISERIE CHIC SPRING BEDROOM DECOR

Welcome to this year’s first spring decorating post! You’ll recognize some of the pieces in our spring bedroom decor – I shared them last month in my spring inspiration post, along with some other gorgeous new pieces you’ll see in our home this season.

Today I’m sharing our spring bedroom decor, all decked out in chinoiserie chic style. I hope you love this year’s spring look as much as we do!

CHINOISERIE CHIC SPRING BEDROOM DECOR

Spring is finally here in our home and I’m so excited!

My Dad always counted down the days each year, he couldn’t wait to hit the golf course every April.

We have very long winters here and I’m thrilled knowing we have nine days left to go!I’ve been scheming for this season since the holidays were over and I love that our home is filled with all the vibrance and freshness that spring represents.

Our bedroom this spring is swathed in layers of gorgeous light and medium blues, whites, and touches of classic navy. My mom’s favorite for spring :)

You’ll find a plethora of these colors throughout our home once again this spring season.

SPRING PILLOWS – CHINOISERIE CHIC GORGEOUSNESS!

Now…let’s talk pillows!

I’m absolutely in love with our new, gorgeous and luxe pillows from Paloma Living – a luxury soft furnishings brand based in Australia, that I recently discovered.These elegant beauties help to elevate the look of our spring bedroom decor and bring our bedding to another level.

The workmanship is incredible and the quality is exquisite.

I started with this new, inexpensive duvet set, in a medium blue, accented with a navy border, as the base of my bedding look.

Then I layered on the chinoiserie chic from there.

I also layered my favorite monogrammed shams as the backdrop to my new throw pillows.My favorite sheet set from Williams Sonoma Home that I’ve had for a few years (find a similar set), with beautiful navy greek key embroidery detailing, is the perfect compliment to this chinoiserie chic look.

We moved this mirror from our entryway and the scale over our bed is perfect.

If you’re new here, you’ll soon learn I am often moving things from room to room to create new looks and change things up. I finished my bedding look with our blue and white floral chinoiserie quilt for added pattern and texture.

I wanted layers of different blues and a mix of pattern and texture for added visual interest – it all works so well together, we love the final result! So chic!

OUR NEW CUSTOM ROMAN SHADES

Now, about our new roman shades!

If you remember our laundry and mudroom makeover from last fall, then you remember our beautiful custom roman shades we had made from Martha & Ash.I loved how that shade turned out so much, we had the same ones made for our bedroom.

The look is tailored and chic, and I much prefer having shades instead of the drapes we had previously.Our bedroom feels so much larger now, brighter and more airy.

Our beautiful new shades are made from a gorgeous linen, trimmed in the prettiest pale blue taping for a chic, preppy look:
