NEW MASTER BEDROOM BEDDING

| | |

We love our bedroom – although it’s not a big space, it’s calm, cozy and very relaxing. We don’t have a formal bedroom set in here, and much like the rest of our home, this room has more of a ‘collected’ feel to it. I’ve shared several tips on how to create this look yourself in one of my previous posts which you can read all about it here, Creating A Curated Bedroom, from January 2016. Having a king size bed in a small space is a big challenge, but at least we can move the furniture around between two of our walls – which I’m always doing. I love to switch our room around often and I also love to change our bedding quite often as well. When we built our home 7 years ago, I wanted this space to be enveloping, warm and cozy, so I went with a gorgeous dark grey, Washboard by Ralph Lauren. I absolutely love this color and it has served it’s purpose perfectly. I have decided, however, it’s finally time for some small changes to give our room a fresh new look, and today, I’m starting with our new master bedroom bedding. I could not love it more!

Master bedroom with gorgeous blue and white bedding, grey upholstered bed and white drapes.I’ve been looking to add some blue in here for a while. While I love all the grey layers we’ve had going on, I decided for summer, it’s time to brighten things up. To start things off, I bought some gorgeous new bedding from HomeSense, that I stumbled upon by accident. As soon as I saw it, I knew it would be perfect for the updates I was looking to do. Unfortunately, it’s not available anymore, however I’ve sourced some similar options that are very popular, and some of top selling bedding I feature on my site.

I brought in some of my favorite blue and white ginger jars to balance the blues in the bedding. I always love to use my blue and white jars and vases throughout our home. Over the years my collection has grown, and I’ve found great pieces as thrift shops and Chinatown. I wrote a blog post dedicated to my collection and what retailers offer beautiful pieces. You can read all about it here.

Hi Chelsea, is there a store near you that you can go visit? Mine is definitely the lighter of the two! I may have called it charcoal without knowing the darker one is actually called that ;) I can absolutely tell you mine is the lighter grey, my sister has the darker one and it’s completely different. Hope that helps, good luck!

  5. Perfect. Thank you! Also I noticed in your previous comments you said this bed was the lighter of the greys but then said it was the charcoal one. I’m looking on structube and the charcoal one looks wayyyy darker than the granite in their pictures. But then in some customers pictures the charcoal looks like yours. So I’m confused and don’t know if those customers chose the right color and actually got the granite?? I’m wanting a light grey not a super dark so I’m lost! Did you for sure order the charcoal and it just came lighter than pictured on their site???
