GOLD, BLUE AND WHITE CHRISTMAS DECOR INSPIRATION

|

We’re already at the end of October, can you believe it?! You know that means Christmas decorating season is upon us! I’ll be starting this week, and sharing my content soon so I can inspire all of you. I’m thrilled to show you a peek at this year’s holiday look… a return to my favorite gold, blue and white Christmas decor and color palette! I’m so excited to bring this gorgeous look back to our home. But there’s a twist this year…more on that just below!

Last year, I went out on a limb with a totally different look than ever before – a sophisticated and traditional blue and red Christmas theme. Our blue and red Christmas tree, Christmas living room, Christmas kitchen and Christmas Entryway + Dining room turned out even better than I had envisioned and we all loved the feeling  our home so much.

This year’s gorgeous color palette is, as most of you already know, made up of my favorite color combination – gold, blue and white. I’m so happy to bring it back this Christmas with some beautiful new decor!

It seems that with every season, I’m always in awe of how fast the time is passing. Life is busy being a mom of two teens, running my business and our home, time always seems to fly.

But really, how is Christmas almost here already?

Nevertheless, I’m so excited to share this year’s holiday look with you, loaded with gorgeous gold, blue and white Christmas decor.

OUR NEW CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS + PRE-LIT CHRISTMAS TREE

I’ll be kicking off this year’s Christmas posts featuring our gorgeous new, blue and gold Christmas ornaments from the Biltmore Collection from Balsam Hill.

They’re so stunning and the rich gold, blue and white Christmas colors are so regal.Gold an blue traditional Christmas ornaments from Balsam Hill Biltmore collection. Gold and white Christmas ornaments from the Balsam Hill Biltmore collection.

Surprise…here’s the twist if you haven’t guessed it yet! This year our home will be graced with this stunning, pre-lit Silverado Slim Christmas tree, also from Balsam Hill.

I cannot wait to bring in a green tree again this year. This majestic beauty has 8000 micro LED lights!Silverado Slim faux Christmas tree from Balsam Hill with micro LED lights. We’ve been using a flocked Christmas tree for about five years and we haven’t had a green Christmas tree since before that, when our trees were real.

I miss having a real Christmas tree in our living room, but I can truly say, that having a faux tree is amazing! No mess and so easy to put up and also pack away.BH Balsam Fir garland with clear lights.I’ll also be using this beautiful, pre-lit BH Balsam Fir garland from Balsam Hill that will adorn our mantel this Christmas season and possibly our entryway. I ordered 2, ten foot garlands with clear LED lights and can’t wait to decorate them.

4 – My go-to LoHome ginger jars and ceramic trees

5 – More blue and white Christmas decor and my favorite chinoiserie pieces as always!

ARE GOLD, BLUE AND WHITE CHRISTMAS COLORS?

Yes! I love the elegance and sophistication of this color palette, but there’s more to just a beautiful color scheme, these colors are symbolic and represent the true meaning of Christmas.

Gold often represents the three wise men bearing gifts for Jesus, as gold was one of their many gifts. It also represents the Star of Bethlehem, the star the wise men followed on their journey.

Blue is often associated in Christianity with Mother Mary, the mother of Jesus. She was often portrayed wearing blue robes. Although blue robes signified wealth historically, Mary was not wealthy, however the color blue is used to signify her importance.

White symbolizes snow and northern climates, but most importantly, white represents the peace and the purity of our saviour, Jesus Christ.

Speaking of the true  meaning of Christmas, I’m loving this light blue nativity scene and also this blue and white nativiy scene. I’ve never had one, and either of these would be just perfect in our home for Christmas.

Your tree and decor will be stunning for sure, Tam. I also plan to use blues in my family room, as I have incorporated blue as an accent color recently.
