A very big thank you to Cailini Coastal for providing our gorgeous new rug and tabletop pieces.Fall dining room decor with blue and neutral accessories creates a gorgeous welcoming coastal look.

These past couple of years, much of my decor has leaned toward a coastal look with a lot of blue, always anchored with a classic, elegant and sophisticated feel, along with chinoiserie elements throughout. – all things I love so much.

It’s easy to create a look that is unique to your own style – use pieces and colors that you love and that resonate with you, and it will always feel like home. Fall dining room decor with soft blues and warm neutralsI have to tell you how much I love our new 8 x 10 Majorca rug from Cailini Coastal.

I’ve swapped rugs in our dining room (and all over the house!) many, many times, and I’ve never found a rug that felt exactly right in this space.

I can honestly say, this one suits our dining room just perfectly and truly helps to elevate the look of our home.Dining room decorated for fall with a soft blue and neutral color palette. It’s the perfect compliment to our new, blue faux grasscloth wallpaper in our adjacent entryway, that we recently installed – as you can see below.

I’m sharing a closer look at my table further down.Dining room decorated for fall with layers of soft blues and neutral tones. For this year’s fall dining room decor, beautiful blues layered with warm neutrals help to create a warm, welcoming feeling. I layered this cozy plaid throw blanket, also from Cailini Coastal, over the chair to add a layer of warmth and visual interest.Dining room decorated for fall in neutral tones and soft blue hues.I used pillows in these same hues that you may have seen in some of my previous posts from last fall and last Christmas – I often rotate them throughout our home in different seasons.Dining room fall decor with beautiful blues and neutrals.I’ve been adding more and more blue throughout our home and it just feels so good to me.

Home is where I am happiest! Creating a feeling in our home that we love – not just filled with pretty things – is essential!

TIPS ON HOW TO WARMLY DECORATE FOR FALL WITH BLUES

  • I kept the blues in here this fall season soft – a beautiful compliment to beiges, creams, ivories and browns.
  • Layer all those blues with more neutrals (even though blue really is a neutral too!) – dishes, candles, placemats, napkin rings.
  • Add gold touches throughout – I used candlesticks scattered on the table as well as hurricanes atop the bar cabinets.
  • Mix beige/brown/ivory/muted green floral tones with white – I searched for warmer toned flowers to mix with white for a muted look and to keep my centrepiece from being too bright.

A GORGEOUS FALL CENTERPIECEFall tablescape layered with soft blues, natural woven elements and neutral tones.

I created this stunning, large-scale fall centrepiece using all faux stems arranged in one of my all-time favorite ginger jars.

This oversized ginger jar is very tall alone – about 24″ – it’s a gorgeous piece that helps to make a very big statement.Fall floral arrangement with beige hydrangeas, peonies and muted green leaves.I used a mix of new faux florals with some existing ones to achieve a large, full look that is soft and elegant.

Don’t be afraid to go big and make a statement with an oversized centrepiece!

If you prefer, you can always remove it from the table when you’re ready to serve your guests and replace it with something smaller, or just keep candles scattered along with your serving dishes.Faux floral arrangement in soft neutrals is a gorgeous fall centrepiece.

FALL TABLE DECOR: CASUAL, COASTAL + BEAUTIFUL!Fall dining room decor and table dressed in neutrals and soft blues.

Building off of my fall centrepiece, I created a gorgeous coastal inspired fall tablescape with layers of beautiful, soft blue block print linens, woven accessories and elegant dishes.

Accents of gold and brass throughout the space help to add richness and warmth for the season.

I’m a sucker for anything gold, so you’ll definitely find it throughout our home all year round.

I’ll often plate the food in the kitchen and then serve it, or lay out a buffet for guests on our kitchen island.

Usually the latter – we’re pretty casual around here!Fall tablescape with woven placemats, chinoiserie dishes and ginger jar, and block print linens.More beauties on my fall tablescape from Cailini Coastal include: Blue block Print Tablecloth | Blue Block Print Napkins | Cane Napkin Rings

They’re all such gorgeous, versatile, quality pieces, and I absolutely love that I can use them now for the fall season and also outdoors for spring and summer.Beautiful candlelit fall tablescape in blue and white with gold accents.I chose to use the rectangular tablecloth for that reason – to use on our patio table as well.

This size is 60″ x 120″ and I folded and ironed one of the ends to make it fit our round 54″ table – it fits perfect, you’d never know it! Plus, I can use the full length when using our leaf as well.
