FALL DINING ROOM AND A CHIC, BLOCK PRINT TABLESCAPE

| |

It’s been a while since I’ve shared this space with you! I don’t always decorate in here seasonally, but I decided it was time to share a small fall dining room refresh with a chic, block print tablescape. A few months ago, I shared that we were getting new dining room chairs and drapes for a mini update in this room, however unfortunately, the chairs didn’t work out in the end and I’m still searching for new ones. That said, we did update our window treatments and our new drapery is just gorgeous!

Please come and join me in our fall dining room – I hope this inspires you to create something beautiful!

FALL DINING ROOM DECOR

Our dining room is a small and intimate space. We don’t use it on a regular basis, but we do love to entertain in here with its cozy and warm ambiance.

It’s a beautiful room with a lot of character layered in – traditional wall moldings painted from crown to baseboard, elegant wall sconces, a chic gallery wall of family photos, a stunning statement chandelier and our gorgeous new drapes with beautiful trim detailing that add so much personality.

The gorgeous block prints you see on our fall table are from Cotton Print Club – a chic, hand block storefront you can shop on both Amazon and Etsy.

A CHIC, HAND BLOCK PRINT FALL TABLESCAPE

I wanted this fall tablescape to be simple, elegant and welcoming, so I chose the most beautiful block print linens to envelope this space.

I was very generously gifted this stunning block print tablecloth, napkins and pillow covers to dress up our fall dining room and tablescpae – and I can honestly say these are some of the most gorgeous linens I’ve seen!

You may know by now that I am a huge lover of anything block print! If you saw my chic outdoor tablescape, also featuring hand block prints, then you know how much I love them.

I’ve loved them for many years and I’m so thrilled that this traditional method of printing on linens is finally becoming more and more accessible and available in main stream markets.

I love the rich colors, beautiful pattern and detailing of these stunning napkins – printed by hand, block print is a meticulous art that I have such an appreciation for.

Adorned with chic, vintage brass napkin rings, the contrast against my crisp white dishes and the small scale pattern of this beautiful oversized tablecloth is rich and elegant.

Nothing too precious here, but everything so beautiful, I always love a table that welcomes guests and makes a statement.

I love that you can use this look any time of year – spring, summer, fall and for any holiday or occasion. Don’t be afraid to create something unexpected! This table would be beautiful for Christmas and Thanksgiving as well.

My oversized centerpiece makes a such big statement with these beautiful blue hydrangeas and peony stems. You may recognize them from my previous fall living room and our fall kitchen from a few years back. They are so beautiful and make such stunning fall florals!

The beauty of a large arrangement, is that it draws your eye into the room. When our table is not dressed for entertaining, it makes a beautiful statement on it’s own, or with a simple runner, these candlesticks and ginger jars.

We had a beautiful set of drapes in here previously, but I wanted something with a little more personality that would give our window a little facelift.

The gorgeous blue trim detailing is such a pretty addition to these drapes and it brings a beautiful visual element to our dining room. The elegant motif echoes our rug pattern and the color picks up on the blue faux grasscloth wallpaper in our entryway.

Hi Cynthia! These chairs were a HomeSense purchase years ago, and they came with the hardware. I know the chairs that are linked don’t have it – here is a link to some that do! I hope this helps! https://amzn.to/3MHRBPH

  8. Hi Tamara,
Could you tell me where you purchased the gold hardware for the backs of your beige chairs please?
    Thank you!
