OUR CHRISTMAS LIVING ROOM WITH GORGEOUS + AFFORDABLE DECOR FROM WALMART
When I started looking through the Walmart site for the right pieces to compliment our newly updated living room decor, I was so excited with the gorgeous and affordable pieces I found to compliment our space for the holidays. From cozy, but still refined throw pillows, to glamorous candle holders, to my uber chic brass accent table, these home decor pieces from Walmart were the perfect fit for our space. They truly helped me create a chic and stylish feeling in our living room, without busting my budget, and guess what – my friends and family will not believe where I found it all, it’s that good.I love shopping the Walmart site, especially since I’m able to browse by style, which makes it so simple to find what I want, easily and quickly – I am all about expediency, especially at Christmas! The best part, is free shipping over $35, of course! I found some gorgeous pillows to pair with my existing ones, and I love the casual elegance they bring to our space.Soft textures and subtle prints add interest, but still keep the look soft and light. You can find similar styles here, and here. I’ve also linked more similar styles to other pillows just below and at the bottom of my post!
ADD TOUCHES OF GLAM WITH GIFT WRAP
Since my theme is all silver, gold and white this year, accenting my decor with beautiful gift wrap was a must. You can find so many different options available and I chose a mix of sophisticated elegance, and fun and whimsical.
Of course, the kids ask if these are real or ‘faux’ gifts, and if any of these are theirs – I’ve been known to use both in the past – but since I think they may do a little snooping before the big day, I chose to wrap some of my hubby’s presents (he has no clue haha!) instead.
SILVER, GOLD, CANDLELIGHT + GLASS EQUALS A WHOLE LOT OF GLAM
You guys know how much I love my metallics, and mixing them together for a chic, sophisticated look. And since this season is all about doing just that, sprinkling our Christmas living room with glitzy touches of silver and gold were necessary for me. Bring on all that glorious candlelight too!
I love these gorgeous silver pillar candles to hold my existing silver glitter candles – they add the perfect touch of reflection on our ottoman. You can find similar ones here and here, and at the bottom of my post as well, where I’ve linked a ton of affordable accessories and Christmas decor.
I used brass and glass candle holders and trays to layer in added candlelight, and also to corral ornaments, and small decorations.
Even thought I love all of my new pieces, I think I’m most excited about this gorgeous brass accent table – it is the perfect fit for our space, and nestled between my chairs, it provides the perfect perch more holiday layers.
I love the unique shape of the base and the cantilevered design of the top is very cool – it’s truly a fabulous piece and it glams up this little nook just the way I wanted.
I love how just a few key, very affordable pieces have completed the look I was after this Christmas. Now I’m all set, and our living room is holiday ready. Thank you for reading with me today!
