OUR RED AND BLUE CHRISTMAS KITCHEN DECORGorgeous Christmas kitchen, decorated in blue and white with red accents, greenery and beautiful white flowers and red berries.

This year, Christmas is definitely looking different in our home! In all of my years of decorating for the holidays, I’ve never used red as a dominant color.

My mother always did (I talk more about that in my Christmas tree post), and our Christmas decor was always classic and so beautiful.Christmas kitchen decorated with blue and white chinoiserie pieces, white flowers, greenery and red accents. Blue and white chinoiserie is one of my favorite things ever, and I always love to incorporate my collections throughout our home. This Christmas, it feels so good to bring it back!

Last year was all metallic neutrals with soft blues and greens (which I loved too!) – feel free to peruse last year’s Christmas decor look – I think you’ll love it too.Beautiful Christmas floral arrangement with white roses and hydrangeas, holiday greenery and red berries is festive and elegant. There’s just something about a gorgeous red, white and blue combination with touches of greenery, that brings me back to something more traditional, and I love it.

Our kitchen shelves must be one of my favorite parts of our kitchen – they’re always so fun to style. Keeping with my theme and my love of symmetry, I used some of my favorite pieces with a few faux pine branches and red ornaments.Open kitchen shelves decorated for Christmas with blue and white chinoiserie pieces, apothecary jars, red ornaments, greenery and gold accented Christmas trees in blue and white.

I bought some inexpensive garlands from the dollar store and cut them up to place sprigs on the shelves. DECORATING AROUND THE STOVE AND RANGE HOODBeautiful Christmas kitchen decorating - range hood styled with a green wreath with red berries

Our tiled wall is the focal point of our kitchen and I always like to make a statement here – a beautiful wreath on the range hood and thoughtful decor flanking the stove is often my go-to decorating formula for this space.Beautiful Christmas kitchen decorating - range hood styled with a green wreath with red berries, stove flanked with holiday floral arrangements and ginger jars.Beautiful Christmas kitchen decorating - green wreath with red berries displayed on the range hood creates a beautiful focal point.

A FEW MORE FESTIVE TOUCHES

I always add something to our kitchen barstools, and this year I decided to mix it up! I used two styles of wreaths on the back of the stools to add a little variation and fun.Barstools styled with beautiful Christmas wreaths is festive and fun!Christmas kitchen decor with festive wreaths tied onto barstools.

I added the red berries to my green wreathes and found these gorgeous frosted berry wreaths at HomeSense. My faux floral arrangement on our island is gorgeous in my blue and white ginger jar. I just love the colors together.

I used the three bunches of the same white florals (from Michael’s) as next to the stove, three bunches of white hydrangeas and some extra berries. Does it get more festive than that? I went all out this year ;)Create a beautiful Christmas kitchen centrepiece with white florals, red berries and holiday greenery in a blue and white ginger jar.
