AFFORDABLE, CUSTOM WINDOW TREATMENTS THROUGHOUT OUR HOME

It’s amazing what the right window treatments will do for a room. Finding and choosing window treatments can be a daunting task. The best style to suit your space is a very personal choice and should reflect your own personal style, the style of your room and your home. Figuring out the right dimensions and hanging height for drapery is also very important to ensure you get the right look – this too is a very personal choice, but you always want to ensure your drapes have an upscale look. There are many other details to consider as well – header style, liner type, fabric, color, trim border and more. Today, I’ll be sharing all of our new, beautiful and affordable custom window treatments throughout each room in our home. OUR BEDROOM DRAPES AND BAMBOO SHADES

If you’ve seen our bedroom makeover, you know about these gorgeous, affordable, custom window treatments. They are just stunning and help to truly transform this space into a very chic retreat.

We layered the windows with classic bamboo shades as well as our chic drapes – they’re so beautiful in here. I love the added texture and natural look of the bamboo roman shades juxtaposed with our very tailored drapes.

I always try to hang our drapes as high as possible in any space – this allows your eye to travel upward and it also creates the illusion of more height.

Another design choice I prefer when choosing drapes, is a triple pleat header – it’s a very traditional, classic look and adds a dressier feel to a room.

I also personally love to add border trim detail to the leading edge of each panel – it creates a more custom, upscale look and adds something unexpected to your space, with beautiful pattern or color. You can see more of our bedroom in this Instagram reel.

OUR ELEGANT DINING ROOM DRAPES

For the winter months, I wanted a chic and cozy, monochromatic look in our dining room. We added these stunning drapes with gorgeous trim detail. We just added this very chic remote control bamboo shade and love it so much! It’s so fun to simply click a button and have automatic privacy and light control – it’s really cool! This bamboo roman shade, like our bedroom roman shades, adds a gorgeous layer to our window and brings in beautiful texture.

Last year, we installed these gorgeous ivory drapes, which helped to breathe new life into our dining room. The beautiful trim detail (the same as the pair above) is the perfect complement to our rug and of course helps to bring more blue detail into the space. OUR STUNNING LIVING ROOM DRAPES

Our living room was the first space in our home to get dressed up with these stunning drapes. We never even thought of adding drapery to our living room windows before, as we have a lot privacy here where we live and we didn’t want to cover the doors.

I was very careful of that when measuring, in order to keep as much natural light coming into our home. It was the best decision!

I can honestly tell you, they have completely transformed the look in our living room and our home. Again, you’ll notice a very crisp, tailored look with all of the details we chose for these drapes. See the fun transformation of our living room in this Instagram reel.

OUR PREPPY CHIC KITCHEN ROMAN SHADES

Our kitchen got an upgrade with affordable, custom window treatments as well. I was going for something completely different in our spring kitchen with these beautiful, preppy chic roman shades – I wanted to bring more blue into the space and they’ve added the perfect touch in here.

They add just the right amount of color and pattern – this spring kitchen Instagram reel gives you another look! I love the bright, happy feeling they bring!

OUR DAUGHTER’S CHIC BEDROOM DRAPES & REMOTE CONTROL ROMAN SHADE

Our daughter wanted a sophisticated and modern look in her bedroom, with a hotel-chic vibe that suits her personal style. She chose a very simple and sleek look with these beautiful white drapes and coordinating remote control roman shade in the same fabric. They both have blackout lining, which she loves. The results are fabulous!

OUR BATHROOM ROMAN SHADE
