OUR BRIGHT & CHIC SPRING ENTRYWAY DECOR
It’s so much fun to switch up our decor each season, and I’m often challenged with how to bring newness that will inspire you…
This spring it was easy, I started with this gorgeous, washable rug!
This blue and white beauty, which makes a bold and very chic statement, was the jumping off point for this space.
I just love how it grounds our spring entryway decor and brings in so much vibrancy!
You may have seen it when I shared it on Instagram – this is a washable rug – such a great thing for an entryway! From there, I added layers and layers of my favorite blue and white, wood tones and faux peonies.
WOOD TOUCHES, FAUX FLORALS + BLUE AND WHITE
If you’re a regular reader, you know I’m always rotating my decor for newness…and I also like to find great deals.
I scored this gorgeous round, wooden mirror (see a similar one) at HomeSense and thought it was the perfect addition to our entryway.
I love the juxtaposition of the whitewashed wood with my white lacquered console table (see similar)- a little bit of glam meets casual elegance. So chic.
This mirror has a classic feel to it and although I wish it was a little bigger, it’s a gorgeous piece.
I used my round wooden tray to echo the shape, color and finish as well.
Blue and white mixes so beautifully with wood accents, it’s a great way to give it a more casual feel. I kept my x-base stools (see similar) here, as I often do, and they too add a neutral touch – which I love paired with our new mirror.
Another new addition are these gorgeous faux peonies!
I wasn’t sure I liked them at first, but they grew on me and now I just adore them.
They look so real and add such a soft and pretty touch to my console table.
I’m a total sucker for symmetry and these were the perfect accent to flank my display on either side.
I used one peony bush plus three peony stems in each vase (both from Michael’s), for a full, lush look.
I just love this look…it’s fresh, bright and chic for spring and so pretty.
Do you remember these chinoiserie pillows from our Christmas living room?
I kept them out because they’re too beautiful to put away. They’re perfect for spring decorating and they compliment my chinoiserie collection beautifully, don’t you think? I’ve been collecting blue and white decorative balls for a while now and decided to corral them here in my footed bowl.
The perfect finishing touch to my spring entryway table.
Blue and white chinoiserie has become a mainstay throughout our home over the last several years and it’s always so fun styling it in different ways.
Our spring entryway was no exception and I’m thrilled with the results.Thank you so much for stopping by and reading with me today! I hope you found some ideas for your spring decorating. Stay tuned for my spring kitchen next week! xo
Thank you so much I’m thrilled! This wall color is Collingwood by BM and the trim is Ultra Pure White by Behr. Thanks for stopping by!
I”m so glad to have discovered your blog and love your design ideas. I would like to know if you can tell me what is the color name/brand of the walls in the entry way. The contrast between the cream color and the white trim is exactly what I am looking for. Regards,
