You know I’m usually decorating with blue and white, and this year’s summer kitchen decor is no exception! I kept it very simple this summer season, playing off of my recent spring kitchen decorating and I added a quick update that I am sooooo in love with.

Can you spot it? You guessed right – that gorgeous new blue and white striped fabric on our kitchen bar stools

Our newly recovered stools are fresh, crisp and coastal – updating fabric is a super quick and easy way to transform the look of any space!

I did the same thing with this gorgeous fabric from Kravet, which I ordered through Arianna Belle – it’s the same fabric as the striped pillows in my summer living room post.Chic blue and white striped fabric covers this kitchen bar stool seat.

In just an afternoon, our kitchen bar stools went from clean and classic, to coastal-chic.

They add so much punch to our kitchen, I absolutely love them.

I’m still really enjoying our blue rug we brought in here last fall as well – it also adds a gorgeous punch of color that’s perfect with our summer kitchen decor too.
