MASTER BEDROOM REFRESH: THE DESIGN BOARD
You guys, I am so excited! We just sold our bed over the weekend and our master bedroom refresh is finally underway! I talked a little bit about what I’m planning to do in our bedroom in last week’s upholstered bed roundup post (see it here), and I’m so happy to be moving forward with this project.
When I created my design board, we were still on the fence about which bed we wanted, it was between this one and this one – I finally went for the one I was leaning toward and I think it will be gorgeous. Fingers crossed it’s as beautiful in person!

I think either bed would be absolutely beautiful, but the one we chose in the end is just a little more elegant and suits the look I’m envisioning. Plus, the headboard is taller, which is important for me, since I always load up the pillows! Take a look at our room without the bed below – we’ll be camping out for a while until out new one arrives. And how about our new rug? I thought I’d share a little peek for now :)
I’m super excited about the new bedding we’re getting, which is a fun mix of masculine and feminine, and I’m so happy about the lighting options we’re looking at also. I think I have an idea on the light I want (if you already haven’t guessed ;) I’ll be using our current one in our daughter’s room, be sure to look out for another bedroom refresh this summer! Just curious if you will be using a box spring with the new bed or not? I see that they both say not required, but was wondering what your preference was.
