If you’re new to my blog, welcome! You can take a look around our home and see how we use all of these fabulous pieces. Some items aren’t  exactly the same, but are a very close second…

Our bed is from a local retailer, but the one I have linked above from One Kings Lane, is elegant and chic, and I love the rich black upholstery. And don’t miss out our new bedding and the amazing markdowns right now! Find the duvet here and the sheets here.We recently changed our kitchen lighting to these gorgeous lantern stye pendants that we love. We had a single pendant light (that now resides in our entry way), but wanted a more dramatic look in our kitchen. These are one of my favorite updates in our home. The living room also got a lighting update last Summer, and it completely transformed our living room to a more crisp, tailored look. Find these beautiful two-toned drum shade chandeliers here. Our foyer rug is another one that I continuously get asked about. This was a really lucky find many years ago, but the one I have linked is very similar – find it here. Our dining room chandelier (see it here) is one of my absolute favorite pieces that we have in our home, and I recently gave it an update by adding the white shades for a more sophisticated and refined look. Such a simple way to elevate your lighting! I have a blog post with simple tips to update your lighting – see it here. You can also find the shades I added here.By now, I’m sure you know that I love to update lighting – and the recent makeover in our kids’ bathroom has some beautiful new lighting as well. It’s a simple light with a traditional feel and adds an old-world look in here. You can see the makeover here.Last but not least, our new dining room chairs are a stunning addition to our dining room. We love the upgrade that we made to this space with these investment pieces. If you’re looking to invest in something that will last for year, you will love these! You can find them here.I hope you have a fabulous long weekend and are able to get some downtime in! We have family dinners today and tomorrow to celebrate Thanksgiving, and we’re also very busy on our bathroom makeover. Stay tuned for my One Room Challenge update coming this Thursday! Hi Hollie, Yes it is the same! And I did use eggshell, however, I’d recommend at least a satin finish for the doors :)

  2. tamara, I saw that your wall color is cracked pepper by Behr in DR. Is that the same color you used for your interior doors too (which I really am so doing!). If not, what is the color and is it in an eggshell finish?

    No, it’s one storey!
