GORGEOUS CHRISTMAS DINING ROOM DECOR
Today I’m sharing my Christmas dining room decor, this is my last holiday decorating post of the year! I’m a little bit late with this one, it has been a whirlwind getting all of my last minute things done. I think this happens every year blogging about this room!
If you haven’t had the chance to visit my other Christmas posts this year, you’ll want to! I’ve decked all of our halls in gorgeous blue and gold, and I must say, it’s our favorite look so far. If my family loves it and approves, then I am so happy.
Our living room, kitchen and entryway all share the same cohesive color palette in blue and gold that we just love.
Our dining room is a little more subdued, with less decor and very simple holiday touches. I hope you love it!

CHRISTMAS DINING ROOM DECOR IN BLUE + GOLD
I decided to go very simple in our dining room this holiday, since it’s not a big space and there is a lot of furniture in here.
Similar to last year’s Christmas dining room, I put the focus on hanging wreaths and a very simple and understated centrepiece.
This past fall, we added this gorgeous new rug from Cailini Coastal, and I just love the soft blue and ivory colors in this space.
They’re a gorgeous compliment to our Stonington Grey (by Benjamin Moore) wall color.
One of my absolute favorite views in our home is this one, looking through our dining room, to our entryway.
The holiday greenery and lights are so beautiful, especially twinkling at night.
DINING ROOM DECORATING DETAILS
Let’s take a closer look at some of the details in our Christmas dining room decor.
As I mentioned, I wanted things simple, but I also wanted to bring elegance to this space.
Beaded and bottle brush Christmas trees, an assortment of gold and silver ornaments, gold and glass hurricane candleholders and fairy lights, create a beautiful holiday story, styled along a subdued, ivory and silver table runner.
I hung my favorite gold leaf wreaths, dressed up with a soft blue/silver taffeta ribbon, tied into elegant bows, on either side of this wall.
You may recognize the wreaths from our Christmas kitchen and our Christmas porch, two years ago. These were lucky HomeSense finds and they are truly so gorgeous!
My white and gold reindeer make a simple statement, standing proud, just by themselves.
I love how simple yet majestic they are. Another favorite Christmas accessory I’ve had for a few years!

HOLIDAY DINING ROOM DECOR
This centrepiece stays here for the entire Christmas season, except for when we’re entertaining.
I’ll remove most of these pieces and create a more simple table…it’s a small room, we need to fit eight around the table. Not much space for an elaborate setting!
I’m contemplating switching up my gallery wall after the holidays. I added this two years ago to create something interesting in our dining room, but I think I’m ready for a new look.
I may just switch out the art, I haven’t decided yet.
Our hallway, which isn’t visible today, but right next to this space, will be getting a refresh soon – wall moldings, new paint, new lighting and a new runner.
I also plan to hang a gallery wall of family photos there, so I think I’d like our dining room to have a more simple look.
Stay tuned for that! I’m hoping to get it done early in the New Year.
I’m also getting ready to finally share my new home office and I am so excited! I know, I’ve been talking about this for a long time, but it’s finally coming to the blog. For today, I’ll leave you with wishes for a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and all the very best in the coming New Year. Thank you as always for reading with me! xo
Your new website is beautiful, Tam! And, I am loving your Christmas decorations in your dining room…especially your festive centerpiece! Merry Christmas! XO
