ELEGANT FALL ENTRYWAY DECORATING
I’ve been busy this fall with so many things, and it seems that life never slows down, it just gets more and more hectic! Raising teenagers has our schedules fully loaded up, and between that, and a few personal family situations (perhaps more on that another time), I’ve fallen a little behind schedule lately. I’m slowly getting back to it and trying to bring you the rest of my fall content before Christmas is here! Soon enough, I’ll be working away on that too. For now, I’m so happy to be sharing my elegant fall entryway decorating with you today – as you may know, my mantra this year is all about simple, no-fuss styling for fall. I’ve been trying to squeeze it all in for you, and with all of that in mind, it’s been a relief keeping my decorating on the simple side of things. Once again, you won’t find pumpkins or gourds (except on our fall front porch), you’ll find a casual and elegant approach with a few key staples I’m using throughout our home.

ELEGANT FALL ENTRYWAY DECORATING
Welcome to our elegant fall entryway, where things are bright, airy, soft-hued and neutral, always with touches of gorgeous gold. Keep scrolling for my very simple console table styling – less is more for me this fall!
I wanted to take a clean-lined approach with everything, because very often, less is so much more – you know me, and how much I usually love to layer! So this exercise in decorating restraint was somewhat challenging, but simple in the end. Things have been so hectic for us lately, I needed something easy I could pull together to take the pressure off, but I also really needed my surroundings to be visually simple as well. Life is so busy, I wanted clean lines to calm it all down.I used my gorgeous new grey and gold color block ginger jars, from Lauren Haskell Designs to set the stage on my console table. You may remember the beautiful greek key jars I shared last week in my fall living groom tour, well I am obsessed with all of Lauen’s gorgeous jars. There are so many beautiful colors and options to choose from, and these soft grey and gold beauties have stolen my heart! They sit perfectly on each side of my solid white ginger jar, also from Lauren Haskell Designs, styled with my hand-painted gold leaves that you saw in my fall living room and luxe fall tablescape as well. I love the soft touches of gold combined with clean layers of greys and warm whites. Elegant, simple and chic.
I styled the console table very simply, with a decorative box on the middle shelf, to provide some visual relief, and a stunning gold and lucite tray with some design books on the bottom shelf. This table is hard to decorate sometimes, since it has three surfaces, and it can easily become overloaded with too many accessories – a mistake I’ve made many times before! With that in mind along with my seasonal decorating vision, I went simple, so your eye can appreciate each beautiful piece.
Other new beauties in my fall home are these gorgeous, velvet greek key pillows, also from Lauren Haskell Designs – you’ll be seeing these pale blue ones, along with some beautiful beige velvet pillows in my fall dining room (coming very soon!) as well. I love them so much, I’ll be styling them in an upcoming bedroom refresh too. They may even make an appearance in my Christmas decor as well! They work so well in any space I use them.Aren’t they gorgeous on my light blue chairs? The perfect match, and again – elegant, simple and so chic. Thanks for taking the time to read with me today! I think no matter what season it is, keeping focused on a color palette and an overall look and feel is key to achieving your decorating goals. I always say to use what you truly love and it will always come together – stick to that and you can’t go wrong. Happy Friday, my friends, I’ll be back soon with more fall decorating! xo

We used Cracked pepper by Behr, in eggshell, but make sure you use at least a satin finish, it’s much nicer!
What paint color and type of paint is on your interior doors
Hi! The walls are Collingwood by Benjamin Moore, and the trim is Ultra Pure White by Behr :)
