OUR FALL ENTRYWAY AND GORGEOUS NEW OUSHAK RUG

Our fall home is layered with blue and beige tones for a warm, welcoming feel this season – and I must say, our new oushak rug from Palindrome Home, with these same colors along with gray and cream is the perfect new addition in here.

We worked closely together to create this gorgeous custom pattern and color palette, which complements our home so beautifully.

It’s the statement piece I’ve been looking for in our entryway, a piece that speaks to everything you’ll find throughout our home.

It’s warm, welcoming, so elegant and chic – exactly what I wanted for this space.

The beautiful color palette truly is perfect for our home – notice how it picks up the colors in the adjacent spaces, which I love so much. The pattern is an elevated, chic design and has a vintage feel that I love. Isn’t it gorgeous?

You may remember our two other beautiful oushak rugs from Palindrome Home, from our hallway reveal and our kitchen reveal – feel free to peruse them both!

GORGEOUS, LUSH FALL FLORALS

Statement florals are always a must in our home, and this gorgeous arrangement in blues is a beautiful way to tell fall’s story.

I love blue florals – they have such a unique quality and are something different from what you will typically find, especially at this time of year.

To create this arrangement, I’ve used 10 blue blossom stems, 4 dark blue berry stems, 5 blue and beige floral stems, for a total of 19 stems to achieve the fullness I was after.

It’s so easy to create a beautiful, lush arrangement like this, you just need a little patience to arrange the stems to get the shape you’d like. The blue blossom stems would be just as gorgeous for a spring arrangement as well.

I often change the art prints in this space as well, and I absolutely love these modern art digital prints from Etsy. I love how the graphic linear elements of the art create some visual tension against the antelope pillows. Such a chic mix!

All of the layers of blues in our fall entryway make me happy – that’s what I always aim to achieve in our home – happiness, joy, comfort, surrounded by what we truly love.

Gorgeous gold hurricane lanterns add a warm glow when the candles are lit and the warmth of the gold metal is perfect. I found this pair at HomeSense this summer and they are such great pieces to have.

Simple styling below with neutral books, my blue decorative box and sculptural knot keep the console table from looking too cluttered.

Chic double happiness jars flanking a sculptural bowl, add an element of symmetry.

My intention with styling this space was to keep it simple and clean with some big statements with the florals and our gorgeous new rug.

Simple, elegant and chic – it’s about creating beautiful layers of cohesive pieces that all work in tandem to create the look.

Thank you for reading with me today, I hope you love our fall entryway. Stay tuned for more Christmas posts on the way! xo
