GORGEOUS BLUE AND GOLD CHRISTMAS KITCHEN DECOR

Today I’m sharing my Christmas kitchen decor dressed for the season in more gorgeous blue and gold. If you saw my recent Christmas living room post and my Christmas tree and garland post, then you’ve already seen our halls decked in this beautiful color palette – we couldn’t love it more.
I’m so excited to be joining up with a fantastic group of bloggers this week for one of my favorite Christmas tours – Holiday Home Tour, hosted by my very talented friends, Jenny from Evolution of Style and Christy + Amy from 11 Magnolia Lane. GORGEOUS BLUE AND GOLD CHRISTMAS KITCHEN DECOR
If you’re coming over from Heather of Setting for Four, welcome to our Christmas kitchen! Heather has the most chic and gorgeous style, doesn’t she?
This year in our kitchen, I went for a layered look using my favorite blue, white and gold – which is no surprise if you’ve been reading with me for a while.
Touches of greenery and accented with gold, I think this is my favorite holiday look so far.Last year’s kitchen look was all about blue, white and red, and it was such a fun departure for me.
This year, I wanted to keep the layered look, but with a more subtle palette, which is my all-time favorite.Beautiful blue and white ginger jars, gold accents and greenery all tied up in pretty bows.
SIMPLE CHRISTMAS KITCHEN DECOR ON OUR ISLAND AND BARSTOOLS
On our kitchen barstools, I chose to add simple blue wired ribbon and ornaments tied to the back of each chair for an elegant and festive touch.
I recently recovered our barstools this summer, with this gorgeous blue and white striped fabric that lends a chic, coastal feel that we’re in love with. The stripes add so much character to our kitchen and I love that I was able to match the blue with my ribbon.
My island centrepiece is not that different from what you’ll typically see here.
Ginger jars, beautiful candles and shiny ornaments all corralled on pretty gold trays. We have a lot happening in our kitchen visually, and I wanted make sure our island wasn’t competing with the rest of the space.Just a few beautiful accessories styled together to tie everything together.
FESTIVE DECOR ON OUR RANGE AND HOOD
Our range is always a focal point, and I love to use a beautiful, full green wreath hung on the hood (with a 3M hook) to make a statement.
This year’s wreath is made with added greenery picks and gold picks that I spread throughout for fullness, tied with gorgeous velvet ribbon to complete the look.
The stove has a pretty gold tray (similar) and chinoiserie ginger jar, also tied with blue velvet ribbon to dress it up, and I used the same flowers as last year to make my arrangements.
If you saw my red and blue Christmas kitchen decor last year, you’d find red berries in these floral bushes.
I simply tucked them in to hide them and added some more greenery and gold picks – these floral bushes from Michael’s are almost the same ones without the red berries.I used two full bushes, with added hydrangeas and picks to create these elegenat arrangements.
OPEN SHELVES DRESSED IN BLUE, WHITE AND GOLD
I love this little nook in our kitchen and it’s always so fun to create a beautiful holiday display on our open shelves.
If you know me, I’m all about classic styling and adding symmetry.I wanted this year’s Christmas decor on our shelves to be more simple, so I kept to mostly white, metals and glass, with a few blue and white touches and greenery.
I dressed up our candle sconces with a small wreath and more blue ribbon tied in a bow – I’m all about bows this Christmas…give me all the bows!
The blue and gold is just so pretty, isn’t it?
I used the same blue ribbon to dress up my favorite white ginger jars, layered with off-white satin ribbon.
Apothecary jars for canisters are a staple in our kitchen, and I combined them with my beautiful mama’s blue and white dish, which has a very special place in my heart.Pretty white Christmas trees and my favorite reindeer styled with a few greenery touches and simple ornaments are just enough to speak to the Christmas season.

I absolutely love everything about this kitchen. May I ask – where are your blinds from?
Hi! Thanks so much for reading with me! Our cabinets are from our builder when we built over 12 years ago! The handles and towels are linked at the bottom of my post! But here are direct links as well:

Hi can you tell me where you bought your kitchen cabinetry and island handles? Also, where did you buy your hand towels? They are so pretty!
My home too is small 1132 sq ft., so no dining room just a small area for a round kitchen table.
It is our forever home my hubby sez (maybe, maybe not ha ha). We opened it up as the rooms were very tiny. Now it is much more liveable, but I would love to have even 400 more sq ft. I love your decorating style, very classy. I live in On. Canada, I think I read you live in Montreal, I lived there for 3 yrs as a kid. Anyway, Merry Christmas and stay safe!
Hi Debbie! We only have our island in here – we have a small home and there was no space for a table which I really miss having! Our dream home will have a stunning breakfast room one day! Thanks for reading! xo
Hi Tamara;
Lovely kitchen decorating. A question I have never seen an eating area in your kitchen except for at the kitchen bar. Do you have a separate table where you eat in the kitchen or is it just at the bar. I know you have a lovely dining room too but just wondered about a kitchen table. Thanks.
Your kitchen is unreal! If I had a dream kitchen, this would be it! I can’t pick anyone detail that I love the most. Everything is so perfectly done. It’s beautiful! Have a merry Christmas!
Stunning. Your kitchen is such a favorite and you always decorate it so beautifully. I love every detail.
I just love it, Tamara! The blue and white along with the symmetry makes your kitchen picture-perfect! Quick question: are those blue and white teacups in your apothecary jars to measure out flour and sugar? Such a fun touch! It’s always a pleasure to tour with you–Merry (early) Christmas!
