BEAUTIFUL SUMMER BEDROOM DECORATING

| |

I’m kicking off summer early this year! I usually share my summer decor in the month of June, but I decided to join in with my friends, all sharing their summer bedrooms this week. I think you’ll still be inspired with some beautiful summer bedroom decorating today, that will help kickstart your summer decorating too.

I’m joining our lovely host Marty, from A Stroll Thru Life, for this Inviting Summer Bedrooms Tour. If you’re coming over from Anita’s tour of Whispering Pines Homestead, welcome! How gorgeous is Anita’s beautiful bedroom!

You’ll want to visit all of the tours this week so you can get decorating for summer too, all linked down below.

SUMMER BEDROOM DECORATING – A BREEZY RETREAT!Summer bedroom decorating with layers of pillows and throw blankets in blues and greens.

If you remember my chinoiserie chic spring bedroom, you’ll notice that I haven’t changed that much in our summer bedroom, except a few quick updates.

I didn’t have a lot of time to create this look for today’s post, so I challenged myself to shop my home and bring in a few key pieces to reflect the breezy, summer feeling I was after.Gorgeous summer bedroom decorating with palms, striped accent throws and beautifully layered pillows.

Of course, it’s all about the pillows and bedding in this space, which is very small – only about 12 x 14 feet in here.

I layered in my pillows from last summer’s living room to bring in some green, and styled them with my beautiful blue pillows from Arianna Belle and Paloma Living.

It was so simple to create my summer bedroom decorating look:

  • Combine summery pillows in floral, solid and texture – add some stripes or other prints too!
  • Layer striped blankets with tassels for a casual-chic look.
  • Bring in summer greenery like majesty palms for a dramatic statement.
  • I always layer in my blue and white ginger jars year-round, but they’re the perfect summer addition!
