HOLIDAY FINDS & DECORATING IDEAS YOU’LL LOVE!
It’s incredible that we’re already at the end of October and all things holiday are here! Last year, our halls were decked from head to toe in gorgeous red, green, blue and gold – a stunning and traditional Christmas color palette that we loved so much.
This gorgeous wreath makes a stunning focal point on our range hood, dressed up with classic plaid ribbon, accented with green satin ribbon and blue satin ribbon – an elegant and chic combination.
DECORATING TIP
Layer your holiday ribbon for a rich, luxe feel! Here, I’ve used three different ribbons that all color coordinate for an elegant and elevated holiday look.
This year, my colors will be the same, with a few different things here and there, but the overall look of a classic, traditional Christmas is what you’ll find throughout our home.
Last year’s Christmas kitchen was clean and elegant, featuring gorgeous greenery sprinkled around our space. I brought in our blue runner from the laundry room, for an added pop of color and we loved it in here.

We had recently updated our kitchen and our Christmas decor was stunning against all the warm, creamy whites and golds.

GORGEOUS HOLIDAY GREENERY STYLING
In our entryway, guests were greeted with a gorgeous, lush garland over our doorway – which we’ve been hanging here for a few years now – it is so elegant, and again, it helps to create a stunning, traditional look in our home. I layered it with a red berry garland to dress it up last year, which I will definitely be doing again!
DECORATING TIP
Create a stunning, lush holiday arrangement by layering different types of greenery, and berry stems in different colors for visual interest and variation.
I always love to create oversized arrangements every season and this beautiful mix of stunning greenery picks, red berry picks, blue berry picks and gold berry picks is so lush and elegant. Such an easy arrangement to make! Dressing everything up in ribbon and bows is the perfect way to layer for the holidays.

Our Christmas dining room was simple and elegant as well, with more of the same holiday theme – layers of greenery, red berries, gold accents and beautiful ribbon and bows.
Creating symmetry is always pleasing to they eye – especially in a tight space like our dining room. It gives visual balance and a sense of harmony and actually makes a room easier to decorate!

I used another oversized arrangement on our buffet, which sits in the transition space between our living room and dining room and is also visible as you enter our home. I used a similar mix of stems as I did in the entryway – stunning greenery picks, red berry picks, blue berry picks and gold berry picks – all dressed up with more ribbon, of course.
It was important to me to repeat my holiday elements throughout our home for a gorgeous, cohesive look and theme. If you want to create a gorgeous holiday home, repetition elevates your home and tells a visual story – it says that your look is intentional, planned and thoughtful!

CLASSIC CHRISTMAS TREE THEME
Our traditional Christmas tree last year was our favorite look ever. Dressed in plaid ribbon, red ornaments, blue ornaments, gold ornaments, red berry picks, blue berry picks and gold foliage picks. This year will be somewhat similar again – I just love a classic holiday look. I’ve had many trees in so many color themes through the years, which we’ve loved so much…but nothing beats a stunning, classic Christmas look.
