FLOCKED CHRISTMAS TREE WITH NAVY, LIGHT BLUE, SILVER AND GOLD ORNAMENTS

|

How is your decorating coming along? Do you have your tree finished yet? How about your mantel, if you’re decorating one? Your porch and entryway? I finally finished our tree two days ago and have to say I’m exhausted…but I am loving this year’s flocked Christmas tree decor.

I’ve been decorating our home now for about three weeks, maybe even a month and I can finally say I’m finished tweaking and primping, fluffing and twisting, tying ribbon and moving things around the house about 5000 times.

Not to mention the six thousand trips to all of our local shops buying, returning, buying again, returning again, you know what I mean. Ah, the joys of holiday decorating, right? I do love it!

No complaints over here, and although I’m still not ready to share my full home tour I wanted to share our flocked Christmas tree decor. You’ll see a few peeks of the living room, but the rest is coming soon!

I’m just finding this navy and gold tree in Dec 2019, and How FANASTIC is it!!?! Really, quite stunning!! I do not have the artistic style (nor do I know how to find someone here in my Austin TX area as a service) as you do so I wish someone would sell one even somewhat along the same lines. Just wanted to pass along a “Great job!!” for the Holidays.

Trace, this tree has changed my life!! I miss the real tree, no question, but I don’t miss the giant mess and having a dead tree by the time it’s all over. Love that you love it!! Muah!! xoxo

  14. tamaraanka says:

Michelle, that is a great idea, I will try to remember that, and if I have time I will do a quick post on that idea! I always like to start with the largest ornaments, and go from there. I try my best to make sure that everything is even distributed and create almost a diamond pattern with each type of ornament if I can. Then I fill in the large ‘holes’ with my tree picks, also creating a diamond/zigzag pattern – nothing in rows! Last, I fill all the rest of the empty spots with my ribbons, and keep going until it’s full! I hope that helps!! And I rarely get to the sales, which is a bad thing, because I LOVE to collect ornaments! Thanks for stopping today! xo
