It’s been a while since I’ve shared an outdoor tablescape and I’m so excited about how my latest table turned out. You probably know by now how much I love block prints – I’ve shared several that I love in recent posts. Today I’m sharing a mix of stunning block print linens, layered with bamboo flatware, bamboo motif melamine dishware, simple glassware and a few extra beautifully layered pieces, that I think will inspire you. I’ve created a chic, simple outdoor tablescape that is perfect for summer. I also think the colors would even work beautifully for fall or Thanksgiving. Come and join me in our backyard!

OUTDOOR TABLESCAPE FOR SUMMER OR FALL

We love entertaining outdoors whenever we can and we love to spend as much time outside as we possibly can as well – our winters are long, snowy and very harsh. So when summer finally comes, we’re out here all the time.

We love to dine al fresco, and we especially love gathering around our patio dining table with our friends and family out here.

I always try to set a table with gorgeous layers made of up beautiful linens and chic tableware.

It’s so fun to create an interesting mix and I love to create an outdoor tablescape with as much visual interest as I can.

Friends and family will always appreciate the extra effort that makes them feel special and welcome at your table.

OUTDOOR TABLESCAPE DETAILS

Taking a closer look at my outdoor tablescape, you can see how beautifully the chic block print patterns, colors and textures mix and work so well together.

As I mentioned earlier, I love that these colors truly can work in the summer, fall or even Thanksgiving – I would use the tablecloth as the base and layer in burgundy/red, gold and cream tones for an elegant and festive holiday look.

TABLE STYLING TIP

Don’t be afraid to mix your prints, textures and colors! If you notice, the tablecloth has a blue that leans more grey – that doesn’t stop me from layering on blue napkins. On top of which, I used two different patterns and blue tones there as well. I tied it together with my ginger jar. It’s so fun to create and mix different textiles – have fun with your experimenting!

This chic, stunning ginger jar is a recent purchase I made, to add to my growing collection – you know I can never have enough ginger jars! I love the vibrant blues of this design and the pretty floral pattern.

How chic are these gorgeous rechargeable table lamps? They are so cute and I love them wherever they end up throughout our home.

I’ve used them on our kitchen counters, living room bookshelves, here on my outdoor tablescape – they work anywhere and add a luxe layer of coziness, warmth and personality. And they’re beautiful!

Beautiful, simple wine glasses and our everyday chic bee motif glassware keep this look more casual.

This gorgeous gold and bamboo flatware is also a new purchase – it adds so much chic personality to this outdoor tablescape as well. I love the gold, which makes it even more chic!
