OUR CLASSIC CHRISTMAS ENTRYWAY

|

Welcome to our Christmas entryway! December is here – I can’t believe Christmas is in three weeks and how fast this time of year has snuck up. This year in our classic Christmas entryway, I decided to keep the focus on greenery and gorgeous ribbon again, with a stunning oversized arrangement. You know I love statement arrangements! I will admit, if I love something, I stick to it – there’s no need to reinvent the wheel. My holiday theme with mixed plaid ribbon, velvet ribbon, toile bows and chinoiserie continues in this space as well, to keep our home consistent and cohesive throughout. If you’ve had time to read about our Christmas tree and Christmas living room, then you know what I’m talking about! Please, come inside and tour our entryway, where guests are welcomed with classic Christmas charm!

CLASSIC CHRISTMAS ENTRYWAY

Our Christmas entryway sets the tone for our Christmas home, layered in chic, classic Christmas details.

Our entryway mirror is dressed with a gorgeous garland, layered with plaid and velvet ribbon, berries and toile – it’s the main focal point of this space and is a nod to what you’ll see inside the rest of our home.

Flanked by gold hurricane lanterns, an oversized lush arrangement with greenery and berry picks sits in an elegant blue and white vase, dressed in more layered ribbon as well. Just below, on the lower shelves are a few simple, festive touches.

You can see a glimpse of our tall blue and white vases in the corners, filled with icy red berry picks, also dressed with plaid ribbon, tied in elegant bows. Another vase with greenery sits in a corner of our dining room. I have so many pieces and love to keep them out!

Outside of our entryway in the transition space, are our chairs are layered with classic plaid pillows and the most gorgeous navy lumbar pillows – again, a reiteration of what’s inside the rest of our Christmas home.

Let’s take a closer look at our mirror, where I layered the ribbon on our garland in the same way as our Christmas living room garland – looped and secured with the wire branches, or by simply tucking it in.

It definitely takes a little bit of time and patience to get this look, but I think it’s so worth it! The chic and elegant toile bow finishes it off in the center, at the top.

Below is a closer look at this beautiful, festive greenery and berry arrangement. I tied the bows all together first and fastened them with wire before securing the full bow arrangement to my vase.

Together, our garland and greenery arrangement make the perfect Christmas statement in our classic Christmas entryway.

My little pre-lit Christmas tree and blue and white planter fill in this vacant little spot perfectly. Last year it was inside our entryway dressed with a simple bow, this year I chose to leave it simply, itself!

As I mentioned above, our console table is styled with just a few touches for the season. I typically try not to display too many items on this table, as it can look very busy and cluttered.

I wanted the garland and greenery arrangement to be the focal point of this space.

To keep the look clean, I styled the shelves with another of the same red berry wreath and candle on the middle shelf, and a chic gold tray with a trio of my Christmas churches and houses on the bottom.

The look in this space is elegant and timeless and creates a warm welcome that we love so much.

Thank you so much for reading with me today, I hope you’re inspired by our classic Christmas entryway! Stay tuned for our Christmas kitchen and dining room coming soon! xo
