Can you believe it’s November? What I love about this time of year is finding simple and beautiful ways to entertain that are also chic and festive. Today I’m sharing our holiday drink station that I styled in our living room. We don’t use a bar cart, as floor space is limited in our home when we entertain. Who needs a bar cart when you can create a gorgeous bar area in a corner that would normally not get used for anything other than decor. I love that this is both practical and gorgeous – and it’s the perfect solution for those of you who are also limited with space. If you do have ample space for entertaining, it’s still a beautiful way to create a chic spot for guests to gather. Today, I’ve partnered with Wayfair Canada to bring you our chic and festive holiday drink station, and I truly love how it turned out! With a classic plaid tablecloth as the backdrop, beautiful champagne flutes, chic gold martini glasses and gorgeous stemless glasses take center stage. I love finding unique ways to create beautiful and functional spaces in our home. As I mentioned, we don’t have a large footprint in here, so when it comes to hosting, every inch counts!

This is the perfect corner in our home for a holiday drink station. Since the bar area often sees a lot of activity during a gathering, setting it up a little further away from the main party (which is typically in our kitchen) works well for us.

We brought in my office desk, which is the perfect size for this corner, and layered it with this classic plaid tablecloth to create a gorgeous base for this bar area.

If you remember my recent post on Christmas entertaining essentials, also featuring gorgeous pieces from Wayfair Canada, you’ll notice again, the festive Christmas tree motif glassware. I love everything about this gorgeous Christmas collection, the hosting possibilities are endless!

My festive arrangement, full of beautiful, lush greenery and red berry picks is a simple way to add height and create a beautiful focal point.

My champagne bucket is a favorite Wayfair Canada find from many years ago. It’s not available anymore, but this chic champagne bucket is the perfect vessel. You can use any large container to get the same look.

I arranged all of this beautiful glassware on a simple gold tray, to contain everything and to keep the surface from looking cluttered and unorganized. Using a tray also draws special attention to the gorgeous variation in these sparkling pieces.

A collection of glassware with variation is key to a beautifully curated look – and it’s also functional – you want to offer different glassware for the different types of drinks you’ll be serving.

I love how these Christmas tree glasses, Christmas tree champagne flutes and gold martini glasses all coordinate so perfectly and add chic, sparkling style to my tabletop.

Create visual interest on your holiday drink station with contrasting plaid cloth napkins – they add another layer of pattern, and pop off of the red backdrop.

Finally, nothing says holiday chic more than cranberries and rosemary – the perfect festive pairing to style your holiday drink station, and create a beautifully layered look. Use them to decorate your table in unique ways as well as the perfect holiday garnishes.
