Last week I mentioned that I’ll be sharing Christmas very soon and today, you guessed it – I’m giving you a fun, first peek at Christmas! The last few years I’ve been using plaids and reds with a lot of greenery in our Christmas decor and I’m very happy to share that this year, I’ll be continuing with the same theme. I just love the nostalgia of the season and what better way to create that feeling than using such a timeless, classic combination. Our daughter asked if we could decorate her room with a full Christmas setup this year and I’m thrilled to partner with Wayfair to bring Christmas early to her space! I always easily find what I need and with quick shipping plus a huge product assortment, it makes decorating our home effortless, no matter the season. We found the cutest sheets and decor to pair with some of the pieces we already had, to get her room decked out. Christmas comes so fast every year and I love that we came up with this super cute, nostalgia-meets-hotel-chic look in her bedroom to kick off the season and get ahead of the rush. Don’t worry, I’ll still be sharing all things fall, as well as my Christmas inspiration, so stay tuned! For now, I hope you get excited today to bring Christmas to your home now too!

CHRISTMAS BEDROOM DECORATING

I’m so happy with how this cute Christmas look in our daughter’s bedroom came together. We set out with a vision in mind, that would have some nostalgia with colors and pattern, but still complement the more modern, hotel-chic vibe of the space.

With our red, plaid and greenery theme planned, I pulled out some of our pieces from storage and went to work searching Wayfair for a couple of perfect Christmas items to bring the look to life.

One of the best and easiest ways to bring a cozy Christmas look to a bedroom is with bedding. It doesn’t have to be overly expensive or all out holiday themed either.

We found these gorgeous, nostalgic striped red and white sheets – they’re the perfect layer in the space and set the tone for our look.

We layered the bed with classic plaid pillow covers that coordinate perfectly with the sheets – these red plaid pillow covers are almost identical to ours and actually come with a coordinating pattern if you prefer to mix it up.

Of course, you must have a greenery wreath with fairy lights over the bed to complete the look!

On the other side of the bedroom, we tucked a pencil tree into the corner and went for a natural look with no ornaments and a cute bow tied on top – another nod to that nostalgic look we wanted.

We kept the shelves and desk very simple with a few small holiday accents – mini trees and votives, a ginger jar tied with ribbon and a holiday candle – the perfect little details that add beautiful holiday layers.

These cute mini trees and mini red votives below will give you the same look.

On the dresser we went simple again, with a beautiful natural looking greenery arrangement with lush greenery picks and more fairy lights – you can never have enough lights!

Another candle styled with the cutest snowman Christmas cone is the perfect piece! I love this little throwback to classic Christmas and its twinkly lights make it even more magical, especially at night.

There’s a coordinating one with a church that I am in love with as well and I think I have to get!

Layering together all of these Christmas pieces was so much fun and the finished look is exactly what we wanted in here. The perfect mix of old-world Christmas and modern chic vibes.
