BEAUTIFUL, EASY SPRING KITCHEN DECORATING

|

Welcome to our spring kitchen! If you saw our recent spring living room, you’ll notice that the same colors are featured in this space for spring as well. I wanted a soft and pretty color palette that felt like a breath of fresh air throughout our home. With just a few of the prettiest blue and green touches, that’s the feeling you get in our spring kitchen this season, and we’re loving it! A gorgeous, oversized ginger jar and floral arrangement is typically my go-to accent to make a statement, this season is no exception. A few light blue pieces as well as green touches styled throughout and new roman shades with a light blue accent help to tie the look together – I’ m so excited to show you around!

BEAUTIFUL SPRING KITCHEN DECORATING

This spring, you’ll find many similar pieces in our kitchen that you’ve seen in here before – I don’t change many items, I only focus on a few key elements that will bring a fresh, new look to our space.

The amazing thing is that with just a small touch of newness, you can truly make a difference in your home.

Our island is where one big styling change is, I splurged on this stunning oversized green and white ginger jar, which I am so in love with. It’s just beautiful with this mix of florals and makes a truly fresh looking statement for spring.

It’s an investment piece, but it was worth it to add to my collection of ginger jars, and the green accent is such a gorgeous touch in our spring kitchen! This is a piece that will stand the test of time.

I often switch out our area rug as well each season (I have a few that I rotate), and this classic rug that I’ve had for years, is the perfect layer in here for spring as well – it’s one of my favorites!

We’ve also added chic, new roman shades in our spring kitchen, and the pretty trim detailing is the same as on the new drapes in our spring living room, which ties the two spaces together for visual continuity.

Over by our stove, I’ve layered our solid blue ginger jars flanking each side – these are also favorites pieces that often get rotated throughout our home. I always love the use of symmetry and this is the perfect area to put it to work!

On the oven door, I layered some green block print napkins, folded to look like hand towels, with my monogrammed tea towel and striped towels. These are purely decorative and I always have something pretty layered here – another great way to make a seasonal statement and they hide the door which I really don’t love!

Over by our sink – I borrowed my solid green jar and topiaries from our living room to give you some styling ideas and to show you how layering color in a space is so impactful!

The layers of green along this wall truly make a big difference in our spring kitchen. A simple bowl with green apples also does the trick. So simple!

A CLOSER LOOK AT OUR ISLAND STYLING

Here is a closeup look at this stunning ginger jar and floral arrangement – the colors make me so happy – your home should bring you joy, always!

I often have layered trays on our island – it adds dimension and visual interest to this area. Trays are the best accessory to house a grouping, so pieces don’t look like they’re randomly sitting somewhere.

This vignette ties everything together in our space – the soft colors are all so beautiful together – notice how it draws your eye around the room to the other pieces as well.

It’s simple to bring a fresh seasonal look to your space. Create a strong visual statement with color, bring in a beautiful arrangement using those colors you’ve chosen, layer some pieces throughout that complement the room with those same colors as well.

Dishes, jars, vases, towels, glassware, florals, real or faux fruit – there are so many ways to create a gorgeous seasonal look in your kitchen.

Thank you for touring with me today, I hope you love the look in our spring kitchen. I also hope this gives you inspiration and ideas to bring spring into your home! I’ll be sharing more spring ideas as well, stay tuned for more. xo
