EASY SPRING ENTRYWAY DECOR

It’s no secret I have a ginger jar obsession. I love them in all shapes and colors, and although classic blue and white is my all time favorite of course, I’ve been layering in gorgeous green and white pieces this season and I am so in love!

I love to accessorize our home with color each season and the addition of green throughout is the perfect accent for spring. These new pieces are such a chic addition that I’m going to love using for many years to come.

The beautiful layered jars in our spring entryway have a soft, almost muted tone to them, which is beautiful in this space. I’ve added gorgeous chinoiserie art to the walls and I love the flow of color and pattern as your eye travels from the table to the frames.

Layering some of my favorite coral sculptures on each shelf, as well as my oversized shell add texture to our console table and are neutral elements that don’t overwhelm the space.

A few blue accents throughout our spring entryway also add a chic pop of color – jars, vases, pillows and my new favorite design book that you might remember from our cozy chic dining room.

STYLING TIP
Layer your table with accents that compliment one another, as well as create repetition. Multiple, layered coral sculptures bring in texture and visual impact. While the use of symmetry – with a pair of hurricane lanterns as well as the coral and jar on the bottom shelf – help to ground the display and bring order that’s pleasing to the eye.

A beautiful, lush arrangement sits on the floor – not what you’d usually find in here! I’m always about my florals being the focal point, but here in our spring entryway, I wanted our new green and white ginger jar to take center stage.

Our new chinoiserie prints are a gorgeous contrast to our blue and white laundry room wallpaper and help to tie everything together visually through color and pattern. I love these prints here!
DESIGN TIP
Our new chinoiserie digital prints are the same piece of art, one printed opposite of the other. After downloading the file, the artwork was flipped for one of the prints. This print wasn’t available as a diptych (one continuous artwork over two prints), nor as a pair, so I chose to flip the second print to create the illusion of a pair.
Color, texture and pattern are always key elements when I decorate a space and our spring entryway is the perfect example of that. The green tones in our ginger jars and artwork, our collection of coral sculptures (a decorating staple for me!), pretty florals and layers of color with strategically placed blue accents.

I hope you’re inspired today to create something beautiful and layered in your home! Thank you as always for reading with me! xo
