Delicious Cheese Fondue served with crusty bread, green apples and vegetables.


Simple and delicious, this easy cheese fondue can be served with anything!

  • 3 cups Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Dry white wine
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard I like to use whole grain, old fashioned style
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp Cayenne Pepper You can adjust the heat to your likeness
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Grate cheese in a large bowl

  2. Add flour and mix well

  3. Brush a medium size saucepan with olive oil, turn on to medium heat

  4. Add wine and garlic

  5. Bring to a boil

  6. Add cheese, once melted, boil for one minute

  7. Stir in all remaning ingredients, mix well

  8. Pour into a cheese fondue pot

  9. Serve hot
