Ingredients

  • 2-3 Lbs Boneless Chicken Thighs
  • 1/2 Cup Soy Sauce I like to use Kikkoman Soy Sauce
  • 1/3 Cup Olive Oil or Avocado Oil I like to use Avocado Oil
  • 1 1/2 Tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tsp Rice Vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp Honey
  • 1 Clove Garlic, minced I like to use a garlic press
  • 1/2 Tsp Ground Ginger
  • Cracked Ground Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients for the marinade in a bowl, except chicken thighs.

  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade.

  3. Stir well, coating all of the chicken.

  4. Using a fork, poke holes in the meat, allowing for maximum flavor.

  5. Let marinate for at least one hour, or refreigerate up to 24 hrs.

  6. Arrange chicken thighs on foil-lined baking sheet, making sure to open them fully.

  7. Broil on each side for about 10 minutes, or until golden, or desired char is achieved.

Recipe Notes

If you don't have time to marinate for one hour, that's ok! Once you've mixed everything and prepared the meat by poking holes, it will still be delicious. Make sure to spoon the sauce from the pan on top of your chicken after cooking. This recipe can also be grilled on the BBQ or pan-fried if desired!
