NEW BATHROOM MIRRORS

| |

NEW BATHROOM MIRRORSHaving a master ensuite bathroom is a luxury, not everyone has one, especially in a smaller home like ours.

One of the decisions we made when we built our home, was to forego having a bathtub (I’m much more of a shower person!) and install a double vanity instead.

This was definitely a must for me, I need my own space to get ready in the morning!

When we built our home, we chose to install a vintage dresser as our bathroom vanity and have it retrofit with raised double sinks – which, unfortunately, I never fully refinished, hence the shabby chic drawer fronts.

I hope to change it for something with clean lines and a modern sensibility that we’ll ideally tackle in the coming months.

For now, I want to share our new bathroom mirrors which we recently installed.

 Our New Bathroom Mirrors

A PAIR OF NEW BATHROOM MIRRORS These are the Venetian mirrors that we originally purchased for space. I do love them, and they’re a beautiful compliment for the vanity.

My husband, on the other hand, never liked them, so he was very happy when I asked him to install the pair of wall mirrors we recently removed from our living room.

We had them hanging above the bookshelves and after years of deliberation, we decided to extend the shelves up to the ceiling – you can read all about that transformation here.
NEW BATHROOM MIRRORS CLOSE UP VIEWI’m loving the new look and how much bigger and brighter our bathroom feels.

I’m not quite sure at this point if I’ll keep these vanity mirrors when we tackle our bathroom upgrade, but I’m loving the clean lines and modern aesthetic they bring to space right now.crystal clear new bathroom mirrors Since these are not as wide as the previous pair, I may add a small piece of art on the wall between the mirrors…I’m still debating!NEW BATHROOM MIRRORS with sink I borrowed my orchid from the kitchen and I love it in here – I’m just not sure it would survive in here.

I cannot keep plants alive and so far, I must commend myself on the fact that this is still thriving!flower on our new bathroom mirror crystal clear new bathroom mirrorI also recently bought this new greek key inspired tray, to hold my array of niceties.

I love this new addition and the modern element it brings as well. If you’re looking for ideas on how to incorporate trays around your home,

I have many more styling tips which I’ve shared in a recent post, Decorating With Trays – I promise you’ll be adding them all over the house!bathroom vanity mirrors I hope this marks the beginning of our bathroom transformation, we’ll see what the future holds.

Along with new vanity, I’d like to change the chandelier, wall sconces and paint color as well.

I’m crossing my fingers that we can make it happen sooner than later! new bathroom vanity mirrorsI’d love to know what you think and if you prefer the new bathroom mirrors or the old ones, leave me a comment below! xo

  1. I like your idea to add a small piece of art between mirrors if they’re not too wide. My husband and I want to get some new mirrors installed in our bathroom soon. I think your advice will help as we adjust the decor around the new mirrors.
