I have always loved stripes and I think I have about 501 striped shirts – mostly blue and white of course – and now, with the plethora of striped everything available, this classic seems to be on-trend more than ever. These are shots that have been shared in both of my recent home tours from Spring (click here for more) and Summer (click here for more). Let’s have another look at how I’ve implemented classic stripes into our home recently.

Henderson Stripe pillow by Tonic Living - a gorgeous stripe in blue that will suit any space and bring a warm sophisticated touch.This fabulous Henderson striped pillow is from Tonic Living, honestly, it’s my all time favorite pillow. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I love it so much, I have two :) You can purchase this pillow with or without the insert, here.Dining room featuring layers of subtly striped textiles to create a rich and elegant feel for Summer.Both of them have made their way into the dining room, and are the perfect compliment to my new custom drapes from Tonic Living. Their custom sewing department is fabulous, and working with them to find exactly what you’re looking for couldn’t be easier. My drapes are Montauk Pinstripe in Natural – you can order the fabric here.A striped ottoman with turned feet is a classic and elegant addition to this living room. Neutral warm grey and ivory is the perfect compliment to many layers of blue pattern of the pillows and accessories.This striped fabric on the ottoman in the above shot, is unfortunately, not available anymore. But it’s a classic pattern in a warm grey and ivory. I have the pillows to match, that I use both in the living and dining rooms.     Lisa, I am in the same boat as you! The ones I shared in my Summer tour are my mother’s! I’ve been looking forever…I do have some linked on my site from Wayfair – but I haven’t bitten the bullet yet either! I may just give in and do it sooner than later! I wish I had better advice!!

    It’s Lisa, the garden stool crazy one. Love all your stripe goodies. I just adore the way stripes can meld so well with so many different styles.

    I also wanted to know if you have spotted any blue and white stools at a good price point anywhere? I loathe the idea of finding one online and spending so much, plus shipping. (And that dreaded american exchange). I have found several at Homesense but no blue and white.
