MIXING UP YOUR TABLE TOP

| |

I love to get creative with my table settings and I often challenge myself to come up with parings that are not too conventional. I feel tablescapes are the best place to exercise creativity and personality without too much commitment! Trying different items together is so much fun and I love to reuse what I already own over and over, in different ways, to come up with something new. I love mixing patterns that create tension when they’re side by side – it’s always an interesting layer on a table. I’ve shared how I go about this, with my tablescapes in past posts, such as my Spring Dining RoomWinter TablescapeFall Tablescape and Blue Fall Tablescape.

Today I’m going to show you how to achieve this look through some unique settings that you may not initially think of putting together. The items I’ve sourced for your can be used for your table through Spring and Summer, for any kind of occasion. What’s great about setting your table this way, is that it allows you to play around with all of your different sets, pulling different things together – when you entertain often, it makes the art of setting your table more fun, as you try to find new ways to use what you already have. I’ve sourced some beautiful examples for you today – take a look and see if this is something you would try on your net table.
